I have impact grenades that use them.
FulcrumAirsoft designs a few different 3D printed grenades that use them. I have use them in his "comet" projectile design. -

and there's a lot of chat about how he cheats a lot.
This list exists for which sites he's banned from. Some of the things he's accused of are actually insane behaviour. Granted, it's two-ish year old but that's 40+ sites that confirmed he was banned at the time.I can second AirsoftCamMan. I watch his stuff from time to time.

We have tried a few of the disposable grenades now, the ball ones with bbs inside arent great as most were still inside the split body on the ground. The smoke ones are fun, and I like the thunder flashes a lot.
The best single use pyro (IMO) are the FBS ones that are tubes, much like that EG smoke grenade. They're easy to put into (almost) any pouch compared to the Mk5 (length) and EG67 balls (size/shape). You can get 'thermobaric' types that are designed to give off a bright flash and a fair bit of smoke. They're my go to pyro with the Mk5s in second place.
I've found the best place for the ball type grenades are indoors as they're easier to throw accurately and you can, somewhat, roll them across floors. -
@tside Have they made the regular airsoft area better since they reduced it in favour of creating a speedsoft space?
Last time I went, the number of walk-ons was way lower than I normally met and people were pretty disappointed with the recent 'updates' to the regular airsoft arena. Owners refuse to listen so I haven't been back since. -
If you're dead set on a P90, i'd say save a bit of cash and go for the Novritsch option. It's slightly cheaper and has some upgrades pre-installed.
Mag carrying solutions are kinda terrible all over in my opinion but Novritsch helped with his SSR90 mag pouches which can be mounted horizontally however, at 16 euro per pouch, it gets spendy fast.
Magazine wise, the best i've used are the King Arms 100 round mags (£62 for a box of 5 at Firesupport). The MAG branded ones are hard to find and struggle to feed in my experience without additional work/modification, the CYMA and TM ones only hold 68 BBs. Novritsch sells 100 rounds mid caps for 19 euro each - he cancelled production of the 180 BB magazines because they wouldn't feed reliably AFAIK. If I remember rightly, the Krytac P90 mags hold 200 BBs but they're about £35 EACH.
As for FPS; it doesn't really matter. You can adjust FPS after purchase by changing the spring in the gun. Some have 'quick change springs' which makes it super easy to change - some do not and you have to open the gearbox. The Novritsch version has a quick change.
The best advice is from Austeyr - before buying, see if you can hold a P90 from another player or a shop to see if it's comfortable for you. -
>only had black electrical tape wrapped on to improve stability
How? Magical electrician tape? -
The guns themselves are pretty good to be honest but the only viable scenario i've used them in is CQB sites.
I used to use one at my CQB site and on 3 shot mode, it never had an issue sailing the BBs across the 35m-ish length of the site. Personally, I had the GE 8878 and the adjustable stock made it very comfortable to use. The shells are fine to use but a lot of people opt for the adapter that allows use of a M4 magazine instead but, IIRC, you had to remove the loading door to make it fit.
If you're going to use one at a CQB site, getting a tracer is a great idea. 5KU makes a tracer that fits over the end of the barrel and is secured by three grub screws.- HZR13 and OMinCheshire

A transparent GBB receiver? That's pretty cool to be able to see everything working as it fires but I doubt it'd stand up to any prolonged use/abuse.

Bought my MP9 from @Ronin0033 and apart from the bolt getting stuck to the rear every now and then, it's been an absolute trooper.
I really only use it in CQB sites so i've never felt the need to get the TNT hop/barrel set but I would really like one at the stock barrel length but they're spendy and tend to be sold out pretty fast.
If you need mags, i'd suggest looking at retailers in Asia as they can charge as low as £33 per mag vs £50/£55 in the UK but the challenge is finding them in stock. -
Can't imagine you'll see a clone otherwise someone would have cloned the Ares version already?
Personally, i've had nothing but problems with my G&G L85A2. Accuracy feels like pure RNG regardless of hop rubber, inner barrel or hop unit unit I use. Cannot figure the issue out. -
At least its a rotary hop this time.
I wonder how many units they're going to do for the first run and the price.

How long did it take to print and how many parts is it made of?

It was shooting hot for me but I'd only ever chrono'd it so assumed it was a tight spring due to zero use. Hope you're happy with it, looks great with the changes, did you empty the Pmag for the battery or reroute the wiring?
Think I'd only ever fitted an RDS to the top rail so can't comment on the rest.
Yeah was shooting at 400fps when I first tested it.
The mag was just a spare high cap I had laying around so I pulled the internals out and superglued the pin back in to give some rigidity to the top of the mag. Wiring is still into the mag as it's just the better place for it tbh. If I wanted to make the profile smaller, I could get a short mag and put a peq box size battery in there. -

Is this the AR57 I sold you?
It is. I had to drop the spring down to a M110 to get it inside the limits. No idea what it came stock with. The hop unit is a bit strange, it's like a M4 and P90 hop put together and the inner barrel has a fair bit of movement even when assembled so I pushed an O-ring into the space between the hop unit and the inner barrel to hold it a bit more secure. I had to glue the nub to the hop arm as it kept getting stuck in place when winding the hop off. Gearbox looks to be a standard V2 but without a quick change spring and all the internals appear pretty much standard except the nozzle which is a long brass thing. Really should have measured it. Not sure what's going on with the rails on this - I had to really force the angled grip on and my KAC style rail covers just will not fit at all - it's like the rails are ever so slightly wider than all my other RIFs.
The mock charging handle is a bit loose because the spring is about 3-5mm too short so it has some play. I have no idea how to take that apart so it's staying as is for now. -
Finally (almost) finished with a rifle i've was after for a while until @ButcherBill sold me his AR57.

Is that the same guy who was trying to flog it for ~£300? So it's actually knackered? I wonder if it was faulty when he had it listed originally.

Rather than take the thread further off topic than it already has been, i'll just drop you a DM.

Airsoft artisan makes one.
AntSupplies sell one for £60.
EnglishKiwi Airsoft sells one too. This is a rail replacement rather than an adapter. Easy to do but be aware before buying.
I'm pretty sure there are 3D print files out there. There are some B&T branded rails around (I have one) but I can't seem to find them anymore.
Edit: I've got one of the EnglishKiwi ones spare if you'd like it. Just drop me a PM.
