After years of searching I somehow managed to stumble upon this wonderful TM Aug A1 with the steel HBAR kit with the correct bipod and flash hider. Not sure how rare these kits are but I’ve only come across a small hand-full of these. Just wish I could get myself a drum mag for it it.

The inner barrel is a ridiculous 655mm in length

To be honest looking at the specifications on both, the NanoHard gives you a few more options and only cost about a tenner more. 

 

my Titan 7.4v 3000 mah starts the day off at 8.3v and after 3-4000 rounds finishes up with around 7.9v left in the bank. I know some people have some issues with the Li-ion world but honestly for a £35 battery i would argue that it was a great investment

I have a NanoHard in my E&L 74u, works flawlessly and the good part is that I can swap it with the Warfet on my 933 and NanoASR (this one bought solely as a backup in case one of the other two shits the bed) without cracking the box open  mind you I mostly play in full auto

 

Go on and install it, just set the battery protection to whatever voltage you use and have fun

[Cybergun M249 Mosfet Advice - V2 Gearbox]

I Luckily won a brand new M249 in the Raffle at my local site last weekend. Its the Cybergun Para M249 Featherweight which uses a Version 2 gearbox. 

 

I run titan batteries in my guns and wanted to put a basic mosfet capable of debouncing, active breaking and just protecting the trigger contacts. 

 

I was thinking of fitting a GATE NanoHard 3rd Gen mosfet as this is a simple non programmable unit. Link to specifications https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/gate-nanohard-3rd-gen-multifunction-aeg-controller

 

However being a support gun which is capable of full auto only and is to be used in short burst or full auto constantly, would this actually be a good idea or will there be issues/consequences over time and put strain on the mosfet?

I've seen lots of people saying that the V2 gearbox is not the best for these guns but as it was free i cant complain so i might as well make the most of it.

[Who's Runs Li-fe or Li-ion Batteries?]

A Li-ion battery will go off like a Catherine Wheel if you somehow managed make them.  They don't have a memory effect like Li-Po's and the internal voltage protector help protect against killing the battery completely. I Believe the chemical composition is also slightly different 

Require slightly less maintenance than your average Li-Po but same principles should apply to them when it comes to storage and charging and care.

i was going to use them but cant find one to fit into my stock tube so thats out the question, defientley going to run a Li-ion but choosing between shelling out 70 quid for a 7.4v  titan and a charger or trying nuprols range of Li-ion batterys which are only around 12 quid. mind you never seen a review or heard of anyone using them so it could be a good or a bad thing.

Does anyone know if a complete WE/TM G17 upper would fit a complete ASG Lower, i know the Blow back housing is completely different but trying to find one is like rocking horse shite. Also the slides look I think the ASG is the same as the KWA/KWC version.

How does your 9.9 compare to the 7.4? Obviously the LiFe batteries are safer only in the fact that they vent a gas rather then combust like the lipos.

 

of course the same amount of safety precautions should be taken with all batteries, and yeah wouldn’t take the risk with a cheap charger.

 

Was thinking about trying out a Li-ion. It only a DMR locked to semi and the trigger response on a 9.6v is surprisingly snappy, but they just won’t fit into the stock tube.
