  1. A light facing down your trouser leg!? I suppose it's alright if you need a place to store a light or an optic etc. but still it's bloody weird!
  2. I can beat that - I got a real steel XDM compact holster which has a weaver rail on it! Who the hell needs a weaver rail on a holster!?
  3. I think it's worth pointing out that the paint job on that rifle has probably seen 15 game days since I got it and not a single problem - as i said, this was a VERY WET day, and the paint has worn away only where my also INCREDIBLY WET glove was rubbing against the keymod rail. Taking nothing away from the quality of Chris' work, I can't imagine anyone else could have done a better job.
  4. Hi Chris, Just letting you know: You did a custom job on a Krytac CRB for me a few months ago and it's great - I played a VERY WET game in the rain last week though and some of the paint job flaked away where my glove was holding the RIS. This isn't a complaint as such because it makes it look good IMO being a bit worn - however, I've sprayed a layer of clear lacquer over the remaining paint and it seems to have sealed it in much better, so if anyone else experiences the same problem, just do that.
  5. Sent some Krytac parts off for a fairly straight-forward paint job, really excited to get them back and will post results when I've re-assembled the rifle. VERY impressed with the other stuff you've done!
  6. I spoke with a few people about this, "Soon" isn't soon enough for my personal desires
  7. It's in the freakin' post then.
  8. A mate of mine just got an SPR and it's AMAZING. I'm going to order either an SPR or a CRB today... if there's no difference in the internals etc. and the CRB is just a bit shorter, I'll get that. Unless one of you lovely people can persuade me otherwise.....?
  9. If that's around your budget, then G&G M4s and Cyma AKs are your friend in my experience. I'm guessing you don't have UKARA, and so purchasing from shops like TiwanGun is a no go...?
  10. Up your budget to £300 and get a Krytac SPR or CRB. Seriously. *Edit* - wow, I posted that without even seeing the comment above from snakeEyes75
  11. It doesn't stop it, but you get less. Once the string is pulled a few times and the mag is fully wound, every single BB in the mag can be shot before more winds are required, I guess it lines them up or something better than the gear ones do. I haven't noticed any rattle from the mag once wound... That said, unwound mags in my chest rig rattle like a b!tch.
  12. ^ There's a lot less rattle from a flash mag too (you'll never get zero rattle unless you switch to 9mm's though)
  13. It's preference, one thing I'd say though is that if you like hi caps, before you get too attached to the spinny wheel things on the bottom, get a flash mag or two (google it) - they're the future, but some players still seem skeptical.
  14. Didn't Facebook recently ban the sale of RIFs? This is beside the point anyway, I kinda want to try it as a little project! Was just wondering if it is possible or not and if anyone had nay pointers -That said, if anyone wantys to buy my .177 version, PM me
  15. Would it? Who buys them? >.< Don't know of many markets for second hand .177's
  16. Hi all, I'm wondering if the following is possible: I have a Dan Wesson 2.5" stubby Revolver that shoots .177 metal BBs (obviously not 6mm airsoft BBs). Found here: http://www.countrywaygunshop.co.uk/product/dan-wesson-2-5-silver-177-pellet-co2-revolver-air-pistol/ There is a 6mm version of this for airsoft (this one's an 8" but you get the picture) http://www.pellpax.co.uk/airsoft-bb-guns/airsoft-pistols/co2-powered-pistols/dan-wesson-8-silver-co2-6mm-airsoft/1946 I was wondering if it's possible to put a bigger inner barrel into it (6.03mm or something), and to get the "fake bullet" shells that hold 6mm BBs instead of the ones I currently have that hold .177's. Anyone know if it's possible? Cheers!
  17. if you actually mean "to" the UK, not "From" the UK, try TiwanGun (all gums prefixed with CM are Cymas). Cheap, cheerful and stocked to the roof with AKs! edit - if your answer to Sacarathe's question is "Without" then forget I mentioned it.
  18. Ebay, or Tiwangun in my experience.... depending on what you want & how much postage will cost you.
  19. Friday. No scheduled date yet but they're thinking about it.
  20. After speaking to one of the guys down there too, it would appear that they're planning a re-vamp of the website soon
  21. I can vouch for new owners, had 1x service, 1x upgrade from them in the last few months, no complaints at all from me, I think they're brilliant, but obviously that's subject to opinion
  22. ASPUK are experts on springers, their website isn't the best but it might be worth having a word with them.
  23. I'm no expert but a spring might not be your answer if you're looking for consistency mainly, and only another 30-40 fps. As mentioned above, tightening everything up and making sure there are no air leaks (youtube videos explain how) will help. maybe some better hop up bucking/rubber too?
  24. Yeah my anti-malware kicks off at all sorts. The comment about it being a rubbish survey still stands though
