  1. Sorry for the mild necro, Www.co2cartridges.co.uk based in Sheffield do a wide range, you can get a box of 100 non threaded 12g Umarex CO2 cartridges for £32.69 (quick maths makes that 32p a cartridge) which is what I aim for. If you don't like your local postal worker you can get 500 for £147.49 (29p each). Had nothing but good experiences with them and they have my recommendation.

    G&G l85 AFV

Sorry Arty, there's an exciting cqb site reopening (The Stan) near me that I want to keep this for. Thanks for your interest however.

    G&G l85 AFV

Thinking about selling my much loved l85 as it doesn't see much use anymore now I have my omega, Has installed: Maxx model hop with internal tracer Maxx titanium adjustable nozzle. Stainless Steel barrel Etu 11.1V 2600mAh battery (plus the black magic required to install it in such a small RIF) G&G susat Would include: S80 3 point sling 4 NUPROL adjustable mags. A number of random spare parts I have accumulated included a spare gearbox. I'll attach fps when I get some .20s I'll also record some night footage to show off the very bright tracer. What do you guys recommend I should be asking for it?
  4. The use case I see for a light like this is almost solely anti-sniper, long range dazzling and camouflage defeating. Also I imagine haveing a bright spotlight suddenly appear on you may make you flitch, helping to dig out the most stubborn bush wookie. As for eye damage I'm no eye doctor but I understand the beam is a few magnitudes dimmer then a lazer per square inch based from what I've read (mostly written from other non-eye doctors). That being said id not want to be that guy who stole someone's eyesight with a torch.
  5. I've seen these new styles of torches online and I was wondering if anyone has any experience useing them or going up against them. I understand they are a kind of hybrid between a lazer and a LED torch, super focused beam with little splash but no risk of permanent eye damage like you'd experience from a lazer. Heres a picture I shamelessly stole as an example. LEPs can cost quite abit more then your standard LED, still tempted to pick one up however. Curious to see what the community thinks of them.

Very tidy little RIF, what kinda battery can you squeeze in there?
  7. Well that's part of my problem, I'm not certain what type it is. I believe its a standard TM gbb style but I cant find any documents saying so.
  8. Hey guys, I think it's time for a new hop rubber in my faithful shadow 2 as its just not hopping like it used to. I've had a little Google around and not been able to pin down what's best. Hopeing for a recommendation from someone with more GBB experience than I (aka anyone).... Thanks lads. 👍
  9. False alarm, I mispoke. Ment to say Bush Valley. Battle Lakes is alive and well as far as I understand. Edit inplace
  10. Can I play? Not as polished as some of you fellas but here we are. 1st Is a candid of me and my team while we were getting ready at Bush Valley in Kent (sadly closed down now) 2nd Is from a scorching summer day at Imperium Airsoft moments before I was hit with a burst from a truck mounted mg.
  11. I'll add my two pence, I have a G&G l85 Afv, I've managed to get it to play nice with a Maxx hop with internal tracer and a nanohard (warfet is better but I'm cheap) mosfet useing an 11.1v (do not use without a mosfet) I forget the capacity but it's large. This has required rewiring her myself. Its very common to disable the blowback as its underwhelming and will just fail anyways. Some l85s can be quite picky when it come to mags, I recommend NUPROL STANAG 30/140rnd Adjustable Mid-Caps. 20200830_140557_1.mp4

    co2 seals

If your after o-rings i recommend "simplybearings", take a few measurements of whatever o-ring you need to replace and buy 40 for the price of one "official replacement".
  13. Looks like a good product, I'd quite like to pick one up for an upcoming game. Will you be releasing any in DPM/Woodland camo, and do you have any active discount codes? @Lonestar Tactical Gear
  14. The only reason I could understand for banning co2 is as Tommikka points out is the risk of a "wet shot" spiking the power, whether or not this actually happens in modern airsoft rifs is another thing. All other reasons die at the crono.
  15. I've sent them a message on Facebook asking for an explanation but I'm not holding out much hope of a reply.
  16. Looking at booking onto a site (acecombat) that I haven't been to before so of course I'm reading the rules like a good boy and I see this, "No CO2 weapons of any kind. No gas snipers or DMR’s of any kind." Now my sidearm is C02 and my new main is C02 as well so I'm feeling a little putout that id not be able to use them, has anyone seen this rule before? Is this common and I'm just a smuck for using C02? Thanks hivemind
  17. Yes, but frankly I'm not sure which one is the correct fit. Its for this valve pictured.
  18. The other day I had the tool I use for removing/tightening the valves in the top of my co2 mags for my Shadow 2 brake (the teeth sheared off), it was the cheapest I could find to be fair. So I'm looking for recommendations for a good quality replacement and also a nice crescent wrench for an m4 stock locking ring. Google failed me last time so I no longer trust myself. 😅 Chears guys.
  19. I have an L85 Afv that I picked up second hand and while going through the process of repainting I removed that rail. The removed rail can be seen in the middle of this mess, it has two locating studs that are held in by two screws. Hope this helps, I don't really have any experience converting the rail to anything else but with a drill and tap I'm sure it can be done.
  20. This advert is COMPLETED!

  21. That was my regular site and where I had my first game. They have been shut down to the public for a little while now as the land owner died (I believe) and his son wants to do other things with the land. So that's that. The guys that ran the place are now running milsims at imperium last I heard.
  22. Wow, that's a really interesting and cool product. Before my time of course but I can clearly see how It would have revolutionised paintball. For my own use I'm looking at one of these pouches from onetigris but stock seems to be non existent.
  23. After reading Tommikkas very good post I think that's exactly what I'm going to, at least for a while. I have a spare cartridge so I'll just pick up some kind of bulb carrier and just refill as required. Thanks lads.
  24. Hi Guys, let me pick your brains. I have just bought myself a tippmann Omega PV with the co2 stock, For anyone unfamiliar with these Rifs they are powered using a canister that holds 2x12g co2 bulbs that is fitted into the stock, giving you a kind of self contained hpa setup without the need for a bulky tank and/or hose. Now, my only issue with these is the canisters, 24g of co2 seems low given the potential capacity. My understanding of co2 is that at room temp and over 850psi any gas will condense into a liquid and when the pressure drops the liquid vaporizes bringing the psi back up. So, as I understand it it should be possible to fill one of these right up for twice or three times the rounds before refilling. My question for the forum is how can this best be achieved? Dry ice? Tapping the tank? Back filling the valve? Any suggestions welcome, Thanks.
