  1. they do every so often they will release a limited run and I'm not sure if they have done a new version the last version was with the blood angels terminators which use to sell on ebay for daft money along with unopened copies of game going for £250 plus but every time they do a release the price crashes keep you eye on outpost games they usually have latest releases but gw price are stupid but everybody complains but still go back as it way the company markets everything and has more shops selling there products than any othere wargame shops etc apparently this year they turned over £450 million in sales that's a lot of money for selling plastic figures etc
  2. I've been looking into the rules and regulations just lately about shooting in the back garden and although there are a set number of rules regarding air rifles of sub 12ft lbs (the legal limit in uk) which relate to not shooting beyound your boundary, having to use a effective back stop, not discharging a air rifle within 50ft of a public rd or foot path and not causing distress to neighbours i can find no information on iether using a air pistol or airsoft gun all airsoft are alot less powerful and even if bb ricoches it is very unlikely to cause injury as the power of most airsoft guns is around 1-1.5 joules energy were as airguns can range from 7 joules for a pistol to up to 16 joules for a sub 12ft lb rifle also its a plastic bb that is 0.2 to 0.2.5 not a steel bb or pellet that even in 177 is about 8.5grms or up to 16grms or more for a. 22 air rifle and this is also the reason that a lot of indoor airgun ranges where people use air pistol to shoot knock down steel plonking targets at a range of 6-10mtrs are now banning the use of metal ammo at this range due to people being hit from ricoches its not to bad with rifles at 25mtrs but you do still get a few also since these airgun ranges are banning metal ammo both lead and steel and not only telling but even providing pistol shooters with airsoft pistols for safety will this ever be a valid form of defence as people won't be able to use a air pistol other than precision target shooting which is only a very small minority of air pistol shooters not to mention you dont use gbbg or co2 pistols to shoot 6mtr precision target sorry for rant gents
  3. im just curious about the comment which states that if a gun is by type or design pre dating 1870 that anyone is allowed to buy a rif from that period well like the gentleman said the first revolvers that used metal cartridges were in full production in 1855 this refers to the smith & wesson model 1 revolver thing is the gent who held the patent on it originally worked for one s. colt and showed him his new design as well as a colt 1851 he had made the changes to colt turned him down flat thats why production went to smith & wesson thing is when i asked about buying a single action colt airsoft pistol i was told i needed the ukara because they were made in 1873 which confused me as it dosnt say they had to be in production by 1870 it says they only need to be by type or design the original patent says that the revolver was loaded by a board through cylinder and loaded from the rear with a metal self contain cartridge and that all single action revolvers that fire metal cartridges work this way so by definition i should be able to buy any pistol like a colt saa a schofield or remmington even though they did not go into production till after 1870 so how come the sale of such airsoft pistols to people who dont hold the ukara are not allowed sorry about the rant
  4. I've never understood the fact I can walk into a sporting/shooting dealership and buy a umarex licensed copy 177 co2 pistol or rifle and yet can't buy exactly the same gun that fires a 6mm plastic bb there's been quite alot of incident lately with people pointing airpistol around but it always seems to be airsoft players and ownership of rifs who get the finger pointed at them as for why the officer dint fire 98% of people with a hand gun in street etc are carrying either a pellet gun or a bb gun and police know this as for the others it's mainly inner city gangs or organised criminals and police know how to tell that 2% apart and would deal with them straight away
  5. hi I would like to recommend this person for doing any kind off business with this gentleman I recently bought a hi capa pistol from him and although he doesn't use PayPal he is 100% trust worthy and provides constant updates to you via e,mail and I would buy from this person at any time

  6. hi I'm doing a similar build to this myself but not on a airsoft gun I'm doing it to a crosman 1077 177 airgun you may be able to use the same gun and just tone down the power and they shoot using a rotary mag that fits inside a false box mag so it's easy to use m16 short mags and fit to the 1077 mag or if want use m4 curved mag it's fairly easy there's a few to look at on crosman 1077 custom Web sites
  7. try the umarex one they make for there Winchester series rifles there a side mounted version that you change the lower receiver screw to attach it then it fits above the receive and there's two Other screw that clamp it tight most airgun dealers that sell the umarex Winchester stock them
