  1. They shoot better than a GHK though.
  2. Using gloss mahogany varnish I got the final colour I was after, put a couple of mags through it and its started to split.
  3. Nope. Instead of the wood sliding into the gun the gun slides into the stock. This is the one part that I really don't understand about this gun and I think marui were being obtuse.
  4. Having a bash at a wood stock, its going alright.
  5. Ive no idea which brand GP25 it is but it fits properly.
  6. I'm actually quite impressed with mine, I wanted to dislike it, ended up buying one. My hop rubber was greasy. It's not blued but most russian AKM variants aren't. I'm fitting a GP25 later so I'll see how that goes, and it needs some actual tree fitting to it, but the faux wood is not bad. I've a 90s ultradot on it, and it's shooting really nicely on 0.25s (some cqb sites have a 0.25 limit near me) I'd spent the morning at a militaria fair fondling de act AKs, Type 56s and all manner of variations and this is bloody close enough.
  7. I have an excellent condition WE m16a1 that will need a new home shortly.
  8. Haha fair enough. New: 268 quid for uberti 1860 stock £170 for the umarex Parts and time ect It's very much a one off. And I further worked it out with bits I traded ect and have dropped the price anyway. It is a pretty thing. £275 takes it
  9. It's still needing a little more finishing in terms of wood stain and metal finish, but it shoots straight and true now. Umarex SAA with home made 16" barrel, 407mm inner barrel, prometheus flat hop.
  10. Someone please sell me a Tanaka SAA. I have a shoulder stock for one but no genuine SAA.

    Please...

  11. Maruzen m1100 on Zero in. Uncommon, not that hard to get. The shells are probably harder to source than the gun. But he's split the shells. And it has an ejector issue he's trying to pass off as normal. Already tried to give some advice, even how to fix it but it got ignored. If anyone's interested it really isn't that rare, and it's up at twice as much as it should be.
  12. A western one, found this one quite comfortable and useable. It's just brown boots Tan chinos (which were a thing in the west) Shirt A nicely aged thin leather jerkin A crossdraw holster And the obvious hat. Tanaka SAA, photo taken by the fantastic Airsoft Project and then put through a western filter by me. Photo taken during a duel.
  13. I might end up keeping this one. It's in remarkable condition.
  14. Top one is an Escort with a singlepoint and a tracer unit hidden in the foam filled moderator, bottom one is an old Tokyo Marui (non high cycle) They both take the same mags which is a bonus.
  15. Hi, that's a lovely little collection. I'm one of the raresoft guys. The Marui, that would be something to advertise at about the £450 mark. It looks like the CAW kit. Looks like the original reciever is there too? M1 carbine, £200, though a small market. T2 Shotgun, £275. Hold out for the right buyer, they are much better made than the S&T ones and properly boxed. There is a Terminator collectors group that would be a good place to get interest. The marui AK, is that still plastic bodied or has it been guardered? Systemas I don't know much about, sorry. The HFC Mauser carbine more along the £120-£140 ballpark. More if you find spare mags especially short ones.
  16. Finished my DH17 in principal tonight. A few little details maybe to add but I prefer it with the stock still fitted, rather than the on screen pistol type. It's a smart team sterling, with a homemade aluminium forend and a real singlepoint OEG.
  17. Finished this today
  18. The haribo doesn't pay for itself...
  19. If anything you're deactivating it more with airsoft modifications. Either way if you "binned" the reciever and barrel from a deac you're really left with a stock, sights, banding ect which are all restriction free items. For a proper shady area look at obsolete calibers, there was a company selling obsolete martini Henry's chambered for madbull shells
  20. I know there are restrictions in place but I wouldn't touch any sales post that stated post only.
  21. That's the sort of price they fetch now. He will probably get it but Raresoft sold an as new boxed one with a bunch of boxed mags for a touch less. As rdb says, find another.
  22. Their MP40 is probably the best available.
