The 'What have you just bought' Thread
MagpieTactical replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Possibly a WE Glock 17 from Defcon Airsoft. I say possibly as it showed as in stock when I ordered, but now says available to pre-order. So depending on how good Defcons stock system is, I may have got the last one, or they may not have had any. Will give them a ring tomorrow to check. And a little something from TS Blades just now -

These types of sales always surprise me. Why didnt he just return it? I can get return postage refunded by PayPal so it seems like a no brainer -

Just won £400 or so in the last week so it would have been rude not to. -

An FRV tailoring shooters belt. Can not wait, been looking at them for a while. -
When are the next ones being sent. Paid 16th March.

It's weird, the photo makes this one look brighter than it actually is. The subtle one was pretty ineffective at the last skirmish and it still looked noticeably like a black rifle at distance. But I get what you are saying. Just trying to decide whether to add the rail bungee back on or not lol

So tried my belt loadout today in the gorgeous weather near Inverness. Loved it tbh, also tried some Emerson G2 trousers, which worked great (I.e. didn't fall down and were comfy, what more can trousers do?!)

How do you stop the pouches moving around like that?

I totally get that. Got this for less than a tenner. If the basic idea feels right, I have my eyes on an FRV belt.

So I am going to try a belt setup running a couple of hi caps. Our games tend to last 45minutes to an hour, and so have opportunity to reload between. Figured I would go light with a belt and couple of hicaps, pistol and spare bbs. If it works for me, will get a better belt set (inner and outer)

So after 5 or 6 skirmishes, i have decided to strip the gun back and go for a lighter loadout (going to try a belt rig) and gun. So sort of inspired by the LVOA, this is my Predator as it is now.

What battery did you go for?

A cheap second hand molle belt A couple of patches and some paracord Now looking at the bits to do a flat hop -
So the game on Saturday had snow, hail, rain and sleet set to repeat from 10am to 3pm and the the last hour we finally got some respite. The loadout became a wear whatever is comfy etc, so by the end of the day I was running around dressed like this lol.

Having tried it in the house this evening, it feels immediately more comfortable. It feels looser but still holds the Kneepads as stable. Will definitely try it this weekend.

Molle utility pouch Osprey velcro mag pouch for speedloader 2 more elasticated Osprey mag pouches 2 x hexmags for the Predator A couple of patches Some Geoffs BBs Mechanicx gloves A couple of small rail risers. -
Will give that a go. Thanks.

How do you get on with the Blackhawk Kneepads? After a mornings play it always feels like the straps have worn through to the bone on the back of my legs. I have resorted to wearing my mtb Kneepads under the trousers as a lightweight comfy option
