Time to build another night vision (gonna build a PVS7 this time), I have a problem I know.

Save up some money and get a PVS14 instead, you'll find one for near the same price as the demon if you look hard enough, I had a dipol which uses the same housing as the demon and it was awful in comparison to the PVS14, plus the FLIR mounts are so badly made, the screws strip easily.

my norotos nvg mounts arrived for my budget gen1 build for when I'm too much of a nancy to use my Gen2's. This rhino mount is special because it has vertical height adjustment unlike some others.

How are you finding it?

Don't get ztactical, they are shit and I don't think they are the best for blocking out loud noises, earmors are also kinda bleh (not much better). I've heard the TMC RAC's are good but I got a real peltor XPI /w boom mic and its the most comfortable and has great sound reproduction/amplification. You can get a kenwood PTT to work on baofeng radios but also you can get PTTs for pretty much any radio. It's very expensive, if you buy new it probably all together will be around £500 but you get warranty, they will survive anything you throw at it in airsoft and they block out loud noises and reproduces sounds naturally unlike earmore and ztactical that have a really strange and unuseable sound reproduction, might as well play without them turned on. You can find used peltors for around £200 on facebook. Not to mention you can get gel cup upgrades to make the headset so comfortable that you forget your wearing them. Honestly, don't waste money on ztactical or earmors, you'd wish you would have saved money and got something better. Besides, this is something you'll use probably everygame and hearing is very useful in airsoft lol.

My current custom m4 (built by @NoobyNico) setup for night vision with dbal A2, NE dual pressure pad and m600c, with an xcortech tracer unit and vector optics T1 red dot.

Have you tested if that mesh can stop bb's? That doesn't look strong enough.

Picked up this G&P dbal for cheap (£95 second hand), was a pig to install but its up and ready, might update this post with pics through night vision later on. Now to buy a new torch and dual pressure pad!

Just bought gel cups for my Peltor Comtacs! so comfy, very happy with my setup I think the comfort side of it is pretty much done now!

My new genuine peltor comtac XPI's with boom mic arrived! (was an absolute pig to install but I got it done) They are such good quality, way better sound than the shitty z tactical knock off's (save your money and get real instead)

My team wendy cam fit just arrived from the states. Guys, if you wear helmets this is a must, sooooo comfy. This helmet is now ready for long night games with NODs! feels like my head is in pillows when wearing.

It's a special one with metal housing that threads into the pvs14 so probably wouldn't do for flashlight. You can buy lexan discs of various diameters and thicknesses on eBay though that can fit your flashlight. You may need to either hot glue it, heat shrink wrap it or tape it on, ect.
