  1. It’s an import
  2. Honestly don’t think it has been touched at all. If it had been tinkered with, without the VFC tool, I think there would have been scratches all over it. Pretty sure a QC issue from the factory, but how it could have got out being that wonky is beyond me!
  3. Yep, sent back today. Paid with G&S, seller said they will refund + postage cost when it arrives back. Pretty bad luck, looks like the barrel nut was cross threaded onto the receiver. Never seen a barrel that wonky, even my first TM M16VN in 1997 wasn’t that bad!
  4. Not sure, it was bought from here!
  5. Yep, definitely hasn’t happened in transit as packaging is unmarked. Must be a CQ issue, I think Stevie Wonder was on that day Outer barrel is central to the rail, it’s all on the piss
  6. Anyone else got one for going around corners?
  7. It’s commonly known as ECBA - Enhanced Combat Body Armour. Was used in early days of Iraq and Afghanistan before being replaced with Osprey around 2006. The plates will be the main value in it
  8. This advert is COMPLETED!

  9. Strangely enough, I’m pretty sure 23 were wearing these in Helmand in 2008. I remember seeing them and thinking they were Paraclete, but seeing the UTG on the buckles. Not a brand I’d heard of at the time but they must have made a unit purchase
  10. You can pick up a pair of new or like new Crye G4 for £100-£120 one eBay. Now they are issued to Rangers and bootnecks there is always someone wanting to convert them to beer tokens
  11. We get everywhere
  12. The regiment I was in, ‘The Royal Green Jackets’
  13. Great post, it’s nice to see that the largest percentage is actually going on playing. I think I have played 4 times, bought 2 guns and sold them both. One for a £60 loss, one will be about £50-70 profit as I’ve split it down for parts and will have made more than the new price. I have the very basics in terms of kit, despite playing on and off for 27 years. Eye pro, walking trousers, DPM shirt and walking shoes. I look at all the shiny chest rigs and Crye combats, but know they would see the light of day very infrequently.
  14. I’m 99.9% certain there has never been a DDPM bergen. Silvermans used to sell a U.S. Tri desert PLCE style bergen, along with rocket pouches that had built in shoulder straps I think. The only issued DDPM stuff I am aware of is the 40 litre patrol pack and ECM bags
  15. 600-650 I’d say
