  1. Gotta say, those Gen 5’s look lovely Now I gotta get my ukara sorted 🙄😂
  2. Well, you are being suckered by bbgnus4less unscrupulous marketing strategy …… Their pricing is high for some items from the offset so as they can legally show a massive reduction eventually, fooling a novice player/purchaser into thinking there is a genuine saving there Looks like Defcon are on the right page I Haven’t analysed the specs of either of the replicas to compare products for pros n cons But the former of the two retailers, seldomly comes up with a bargain 😉
  3. Yup, everyone develops their own ideas and practices I only recently “discovered” gbbr’s 3 yrs ago, and have evolved my own practices for running them, I don’t mind a bit of maintenance on my gbbr RIF’s, they aren’t as demanding as some YT videos or websites make them out to be, but sure, they do take a little bit more thought than cleaning an aeg barrel and charging a battery. Roughly once a year I will drop a tiny bit of lube into my valves before gassing them up, it may be a placebo, but I feel it helps keep the seals alive, also a little check to ensure the valves are tight works wonders I’ll maybe give the RIF’s a quick strip, clean then re grease the bcg and nozzle seals, again, moving parts need lubed for a friction free life. A drop of oil on the hammer and sears etc or grease, depending on what model I’m maintaining. I’ll remove the inner barrel and clean the hop unit & rubber maybe every second use. But I won’t use a gas with silicon in it. I once experienced terrible accuracy and consistency when using Nuprol gas and stripped my replica down to check the hop to see what the issue was, not surprisingly it was soaking wet with silicon oil (or whatever was in the green gas mixture) I’m of the opinion that a happy hop rubber is a bone dry one. Ultrair is now my gas of choice as they supply silicon free propellants, I’ve never had an issue whilst running it. Lots of different opinions in here which is good to see

  7. Dunno if the price is sensible, but the stated “hardly any marks anywhere” made me chuckle, looks like they used an Angle Grinder to adjust the bolts!
  8. Where is @Tactical Pith Helmet when you need him? 😂
  9. Yup, let’s face it 99% of the members here are from the uk The others don’t seem to log in or even contribute much after they have stopped asking Airgun or RS questions
  10. I just joined the discord for this website, on the discord it shows it’s a “bot” that joined, dunno if we should have the - Select all images with traffic lights idea for setting up accounts? Or quite simply stop some regions from signing up. (They probably use proxy servers anyway?) Does anyone know if Airsoft can be played in Nigeria? They all seem to have rs Ak’s held together with gaffer anyway
  11. I had an FMA , it was relatively comfortable sitting in the house watching 13 hours -Benghazi Out in the field was a totally different thing as Emergency Chip says above. Ok, it was good for mounting my comms to, and for dorky COD toy nvg’s But, I soon reverted back to wearing a baseball cap, as it did get too warm and caused fogging. Id wear one if I was into the proper larp, but not for playing in I looked like a dork in mine!!
  12. Either that or there is a blockage restricting the pressure building up quickly enough after shooting? 🤷🏼‍♂️
  13. Well The peace & quiet from the Nigerian voodoo love spammers didn’t last long after registrations re opened
  14. Still, sounds like good fun im more into the satisfaction of the kill, than the overkill 😂
  15. Not a question, this just looks a proper laugh to use on site and get kills with 👍
  16. Yup I have found my TM mag to be very tight, it takes a proper effort to extract it!

It pains me, but I can’t justify having this sitting in its box Unfortunately I realise I am a poored, and need to liquidate this to keep my addiction going. This is in exceptional condition considering it is roughly 20yrs old! Boxed with what looks like everything included when bought new Comes with 4 hi caps and 4 mid caps I changed the battery connection to deans, and an AK 7.4 battery fits nicely, just need to keep the top cover held down with a ranger band. If you use an AK nicad, you don’t need the band, cover locks perfectly Nothing sinister to report , other than some paint missing off the top cover (it’s 20 years old!!) Along with the mags, it comes with a spare gearbox shell, hop unit, barrel, cylinder, and a few spare gears for the gearbox. (the spare stock has been parted out) I’d be open to trades of something of a similar value, something that takes my fancy gbbrs will always catch my eye Price includes postage, but not pp fees Happy to WhatsApp video of it firing, it’s really rather nice

    £400

  21. Is anyone else going to notice it and pay homage to the hens teeth scope? I’d be tempted to field it to show pals, then tuck it away and use something that you can replace if it got damaged
