  1. Hi mate, I do have those and tend to keep them open for buyers to refer to if need be - just before the item arrives. But even after using the "hide" option, the message still comes up. Maybe its because the post is only hidden and not removed per se. Not sure. 🤔 I am guessing this does mean that there is basically a 10 advert limit per week which resets at a certain point. Cheers
  2. Good moaning chaps Does anyone know what this means please? "You cannot create new adverts because you reached the maximum number of 10 allowed adverts for your group per week" I have not added 10 new adverts but it has put me on the wait bench (which I think is all a good idea by the way and I understand it is here to stop spamming, retailers etc.). I cannot create new adverts, because I have reached the maximum number of 10 allowed adverts for my "group" per week...I have 6 live adverts, 2 complete and 2 uncomplete. Maybe I am misunderstanding something (it happens a lot as you get older)🤣 So is that saying: I can only have 10 adverts of a certain group as in "10 for gear" and "10 for AEG's" - well that doesn't seem to be the case (but that is how it reads to me and maybe it alludes to a time when this was the case?) Or is it saying that I am the group and that it should just perhaps read "You cannot create more than 10 new adverts per week"? In an ideal world, maybe it could do with a timer on it too to indicate when the next advert can be posted. A more sophisticated system might even use a token system that assigns 10 per profile with a simple message upon creating any advert telling you how many more advert tokens you have left before you reach the limit. I understand though that this bit of my enquiry is more feedback/suggestion based so the first part of is what I am really interested in here. I want to make it clear that I am not having a pop, but I like the thought of being able to contribute to the improvement of the forums I treasure if possible - or find out if I am just being a bit thick!
  3. Nice one mate, you have worked very hard for it clearly. Airsoft has so many health benefits, even being out and about in nature can reduce blood pressure, although some moments in airsoft don't always do that lol!. HIT! HIT! HIIIIIITTTTTTTT! 🤣 Cheers
  4. Thanks for the reply mate - I am not sure, but those adapters are needed to fit in the end of the suppressor. Here is the actual full package: FMA - Spook 14mm CCW / CW Airsoft Silencer I have the suppressor but not one of those adapters. Cheers
  5. Hi, Does anyone know what these are called and if I can buy them separately anywhere? I think they might be called CCW 14mm thread adapters, but I am not sure and cannot seem to find anywhere to buy them separately like this. I have the suppressor, but it requires one of these round adapter things. Thanks in advance.
  6. Yeah true mate, although I think Land Warrior have just added a 10% discount and so has Fire Support.
  7. Hi, just an update - and its not great news. Fire Support said the ICS part is not compatible. We did find the specific TM part needed via a brochure (you can download all of them from the official TM website) and the part is "K-3". Frank spoke to TM and for some frustratingly silly reason, the part I need is ONLY provided with the entire lower receiver lol. He said I would have to buy the entire lower which can be done but wouldn't be far off just buying one new. So my very specific question is - Will the TM mag well lock in properly without it or not? I can still get the other part (magazine lever) but see no point if the mag release button is required to make it all work. Thank you.
  8. I am guessing this has been reported to the police - is there a crime ref number worth putting out in case anyone does come across it/see's him?
  9. You are right mate, all very fair points Jez. Cheers
  10. Hi mate, yes you are right according to the guidance. Cheers
  11. Some good advice above. I have always sent RIF's over the past 15 years odd PF 24 and never had an issue - and I never take it to the post office and instead get it collected. I have also had them sent to me that way just fine too. Enhanced compensation isn't available if you send it 48h or 24h anyway so you are at the mercy of the system regardless and my thinking is "if its going to go wrong, I'd rather it go wrong fast" when it comes to posting things, so that I can react to the issue just as fast. Luckily I think PF have gotten a lot better over the years, especially iow they are more under Royal Mail. I had an issue sending a guitar once but they fixed it quick. Also, even if you do lose something that is covered, I believe they would make it very hard to claim anyway.
  12. Its good that Nov have recalled the RIF to fix, but that battery access is a terrible design flaw really.
  13. Thanks for the advice mate - will give it a try!
  14. Thanks for the advice. Sorry I think I am misunderstanding though, that part you have posted is out of stock - are you saying I should just get that part somehow or do the drilling? Also it is a standard MP5 part, I am guessing they are cross compatible then? If so - happy days, the ICS part FS have may fit then, although I was under the impression the K had its own proprietary parts. So you are saying to get a tiny drill bit and drill out the part that is stuck in the RIF and then thread something like this into the drilled hole and then thread lock lock it? Honestly its better to talk to me like I am a proper dunce in this area as its the first boneyard project I have taken on! Cheers Cheers
  15. Hi I bought an MP5k boneyard off here - I am not entirely sure of what the make is upon receiving it as it has a Chaoli motor so I don't think its a TM, but probably a galaxy clone. The mag release button has snapped off. Here is what it looks like: The issue is finding the replacement seems impossible. Mags will not stay in it. I stripped it down a bit more and the mag lever snapped off too. I may be able to get a CYMA replacement for that bit thus: But the actual button part mag release button, I cannot find one anywhere, other than an ICS MP5 one from Firesupport. I have messaged Frank to see if it will be compatible (but I doubt it). JG used to make what I need: But they are out of stock everywhere. The lower receiver seems to be new and the upper receiver seems old. I think the Lower is an aftermarket part (or vice versa lol) - and that is why the mag release button and lever that was installed in it probably snapped off as the mechanisms were VERY stiff to push. It seemed like the parts were not compatible which led to it breaking off in the first place. My question is - will the mag lever function without the button and by just installing the Cyma mag release lever part? Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks.
  16. Good job on the Salad mate is it a Mk2?
  17. Yeah mate, They also let you keep your mod 90 now too, although they clip a corner off. You can get in some great places with it - e.g you can do a whole day at Plymouth dockyards going around HMS Victory etc. It's a great day (probably need two to really enjoy it) out. But yes, ahem! Back on point. You are right about there being lots of second hand Nov kit on market - but is there really anymore than say...TM or G&G and thus can we draw the same conclusion that people are also unhappy with a variety of brands? Is it just GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) haha! Cheers
  18. Still no reply - definitely seems like one to avoid lads sadly. Cheers
  19. Nothing to be embarrassed of being a STAB, although I do get what you mean by stressing it was TA/reserves. Also I think it really depends what reg and unit you are in nowadays. Its the MOD who define what a Vet is so that lies with them really. I think it is interesting for me because, I tend to think of a vet as...I don't know say someone who has been in 8 years and leaves as a full screw lol. I suppose its a grey area to define though, and so "vets" come in all different forms. But maybe vet status should only be applied for "insert arbitrary number of days served here" but this is going beyond our pay grades to define I think haha. That all said, I have said this to guys who only did weeks or days - there is no shame. In my book, serving for a week or whatever it is better than never having tried and serving a day at all. Quite a few lads get injured, or ill and have no choice but to chin it off or get casevac'd. I don't really get the entire Novritsch thing and don't really know of the guy other than seeing a couple of his vids and looking at his website once or twice, but 6 months as a conscript is more than 0 months/days served, so is respectable to me. (not that serving is the only way to gain respect of course!) Now, weren't we talking about a new airsoft pistol? 🤣 I typed in "Novritsch controversy" on youtube and all it seemed to show is clickbait titles that are actually for the most part praising him. Cheers
  20. Thanks for the answer mate! He's a vet too (which I respect) I think and that probably adds weight to the sales pitch. He must be loaded so I also sort of respect his shrewd businessman dealings in a way. I suppose he is merely exploiting the buy low - sell high paradigm. Cheers
  21. Hi, I am not picking or meaning this condescendingly, but I genuinely wonder what the reason is you aren't keen on him? Maybe I have missed some sort of controversy. I looked around on reddit and seems he basically re-brands and adds a premium? Cheers
  22. Yes the site is reliant upon the seller regularly logging in and checking his messages. The other issue with the site though is that it allows you to give feedback after messaging once, this had lead to what looks like petty negative feedback being left for people forgetting to check messages as well as a host of other ridiculous things. Of course the feedback could be warranted but I have seen a few examples where someone has reported an ad - this seems to inform the advertiser who reported it too - leading to a negative point vs negative point and with no real administration happening. I use it, but carefully and I have had a successful buy on there. Cheers
  23. Yeah mate that is exactly what I thought. On FB, whoever runs the page has seen my message but not responded...
