Haha! Story of my life Mark- "I was doing so well up until" ? He is a bit of a cringey drama queen from what I have seen, but I have only watched around 5 of his vids. It seems he has done something terrible that I don't know about, I am going to google him now. It is a game full of a variety of different players and I have seen some very concerning behaviour and extremely angry outbursts over the years from plenty of different people that makes me question what I am doing running around in the woods pretending to be action man with dodgy knees, bruised ego and back haha. I did watch one of his vids (the last one I ever watched about 9 months ago) and thought - just that. I do like CamMan and also Names Nico who is a vet, but also I really liked Georaga who is also a really top bloke and a gentleman, but I think he has stopped content. I think the moral of the story for my comment is that...Airsoft has a way of bringing out the very worst of people and this gets shown on camera for likes and it is not always a realistic representation of what a normal game day is like...bullseye after bullseye...screaming "take your hits mate" ad nauseum. It doesn't give the game a great image and the reality is, for the most part - I think those situations are few and far between thankfully although that is anecdotal. Anyway, back on subject eh! Hi Andy, Fair enough mate. The thing is, the brain actually makes its mind up way before we consciously realise in some cases. Finding your own way is fine, you never know - you might get a sniper and be set. Now...which gun shall I get next only to sell on in a few months? ? Cheers
-
The lads chiming in are right... We see it a lot on site where new guys buy all the new sniper gucci gear - 2 weeks later it is all sold and replaced by a TM M4. But we have all done it with other RIFs so its probably more of a "do as we say and not as we do" sort of thing haha! ? It is a totally different type of playstyle and nothing like that level in COD really. Also, it can be quite frustrating with non hit taking where you see the round hit someone's noggin and he won't take it and merely bugs out. Maybe watch some of Kicking Mustangs vids if you haven't already, they are quite entertaining and informative of the issues you may face...or maybe you have been watching too many of these vids...? No dramas haha! But if you must - the Tac 41 lite is a really good one for the price and probably the best out of box budget option. Cheers

Is this the ultimate air soft cheat code???
ruskitseller replied to Wegalaxy's topic in General Discussion
Good to know, what sort of range and accuracy are we talking about here from those who have commented? I may well pick one up, its proof that you don't always need to spend millions to have something decent. I remember having a TM springer pistol that was accurate up to 15 whopping gurt metres like a laser haha! Cheers chaps -
Great job documenting all of this mate. Very interesting. Thanks!
-
My wallet says "no". My back says "no" (maybe 20 years ago!). But my mind says "do it anyway".
-
Good interesting vids thanks mate. I used to run a smersh many moons ago when I was in a big team. Good stuff. He is right about fitting the gear to the day/night. I think the old adage sums it up, its the soldier that makes the gear - not the gear that makes the soldier. You don't always need all the bells and whistles to make a good loadout.
-
Cheers for all that mate. Yeah a lot of the lads would chin their kit off back to the cheery QM and almost always buy jayjays (et al) PLCE stuff which had more padding, permanent stitching and fitted better. The gen 4 was very popular and a hefty (but worth it) investment. I am a skinny runt anyway, just a bit decrepit and inept. I can still carry weight but might just run a Ferro Chesty. Maybe a bit of both!
-
Hi lads, I am thinking about moving over to the battle belt to distribute weight away from an old and persistent injury. Has anyone converted and never gone back? I did wonder about it pushing the trousers down a bit, but thought some tactical suspenders (careful now! ?) will help with that just in case. Any pros and cons, pics of your set up appreciated. Cheers

How about an M202? But seriously, I was going to use a TM MP5. Very light weight and ideal for CQB spray and pray without having to upgrade.

SMG Light Gun Bag Recommendations?
ruskitseller replied to ruskitseller's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Hi Al, Ah good shout mate! That looks ideal. Thanks for that. Reminds me of this: Cheers -
I was thinking the same thing and it is really complicated haha! There is this thread and it gets quite technical...too much for my simple brain! ? Still non the wiser!

SMG Light Gun Bag Recommendations?
ruskitseller replied to ruskitseller's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Hi Al, It is a WE06 PPK 20, but it will have a permanent suppressor fitted to hide a longer prommy inner barrel. That one from Ali should do the job. I am just going to sew in some adjustable straps. It will be about 57cm with stock folded. Cheers -

SMG Light Gun Bag Recommendations?
ruskitseller replied to ruskitseller's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Cheers Bill, yes fair point. I am looking for a bag that can secure it inside though with straps. Hmmm I should have checked Ali. Maybe this will do the job, although there are no internal retaining straps, I could probably sew some onto it. It's 70cm so close enough! -
Hi lads, I have been scouring the internet and beyond for an SMG soft gun bag and seem to be finding that there is a distinct lack of them to choose from. I am not interested in getting a hard case. I am looking for something that is around 65cm in length, has straps to secure inside and is cheap and cheerful. I found this one, but it's out of stock. https://www.onlybbguns.co.uk/src-103-src-rifle-bag-smg-carrying-bag Ideally it should be able to hold something like an AKS74U. It seems Nuprol dominate the market but they start around the 90cm mark which is overkill for my rif. What are you SMG lads using out there? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you

I think they are riding the price that it is the first GBB AK12...that I know of Still...$500 is too rich for me!
-
Yes you are right really - the TM AKM is £540 at the moment. One has to question the production costs that went into this or do they know that despite the cost, people will buy it anyway...the thing is, Well Pro are well in the budget zone and will find it very hard to move above that.
-
https://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/p54435/WELL-Pro-AK-12/23-GBB-Rifle/product_info.html Yes they are here for $498 which is a fair old whack. I think because it is early days, costs do tend to be higher so maybe it will go down eventually. I think they are a rebrand of just "Well"? What I do know though is that they have a Well Pro rep who is very accessible and approachable. He responds directly to messages and the group canvasses for ideas from its fans.
-
Yeah that would be nice wouldn't it mate, although I believe Well Pros Advance models have a programmable Mosfet. So maybe its possible to make it do 2 round? I think the real version is one of the first new rifles to not have been designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov so apparently that is one of the reasons things are reported to not be going so well with this model. They do look very cool though which as we all know is the most important thing for us airsofters haha. ? What I can say (and I swear I do not work for Well Pro) is that I had one of their polymer AEG versions and it was fantastic for the price. I sold it to a chap on here, I wonder how it is going? ?
