  1. In theory yes however unless it's very much in demand just like high end cars expensive airsoft tends to depriate more than cheaper stuff. If you are going to spend that sort of money what's the difference to spend a few extra hundred to get brand new? Especially as you have customized it so you need a buyer who wants it and is willing to spend that kind of money. If you haven't sold the original furniture you would be better off putting the gun back to externally stock and sell off the parts.
  2. The Depot at port Glasgow has started some sort of target shooting day maybe worth looking into. Can't say for other sites but I know Section 8 the min age is 12 and the minor player must always be with in sight of their guardian and a full face mask is mandatory. With contacting site you will be better off emailing most airsoft sites are run as part time gigs and are generally one man shows.
  3. So for the price of a new one buy a broken gun in bits
  4. That's part of all Airsoft I am talking about the posts I have no initiative or deductive reasoning so not prepared to spend 5 mins to figure it out and couldn't even figure out how to do a Google search for the answer so spoon feed me how to undo a hex head screw.
  5. What Reddit you on most of the airsoft reddits the majority of posters couldn't find their arse with both hands.
  6. I thought the whole thing is Japan doesn't have copyright laws they way the west does and that have about half the reason they don't bother with international markets.
  7. Looks like it. Though I am sure I got one of those cases for £90ish.
  8. Personal experience the CA has nicer externals put I have had several H&K CA that have sheared at the barrel/gas tube end of the receiver. I honestly think the TM is more robust and cheaper to replace receivers if they break. I also find the hop adjust awkward on the K and if you want a lightweight compact AEG I would take a P90 over an MP5K
  9. It does seem.odd to be exclusive to one brand. Only thing I can think off is they have a very good deal with a whole seller and intend to be an unofficial TM dealer/wholesaler to all of UK maybe. Agreed TM isn't immune to design flaws and duds but there failure rate is significantly lower than any other manufacturer. CYMA is the biggest manufacturer on the planet but even their high end stuff has high failure rates just look at the retailer boneyards.
  10. True but more profit and much less returns. There are a lot of brands retailers have stopped stocking as the failure rates and warranty repairs/refunds are killing any profit. I would make a bet that there is good money in pistols and accessories.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/ZeroOneAirsoft keep an eye out for sales.
  12. My name's Stewart I am 6,5 and over weight. I lack imagination.
  13. You'll get feeding issues at the rate of fire. not sure if even the upgrade kits for the box mags will keep up.
  14. You can't buy directly from TM. There is a Website call Tokyo Marui airsoft, if that's the one you are talking about it's dodge do not use it.
  15. Yes to 1st no idea to the 2nd.
  16. Unless they have removed everything Ares touched would not go near this with a 10 foot barge pole.
  17. No idea if that site is a legit seller but they are nothing to do with Tokyo Marui. They famously have nothing to do with anything outside Japan.
  18. 20% import tax (total value of gun including shipping cost) plus handlers fees between £13 to £20.00. You are going to save next to nothing importing an give up any warranty. Also when you say buy from Tokyo Marui what web site are you going to? Airsoft Gun Tops | Tokyo Marui Airsoft Gun Information Site (tokyo-marui.co.jp) this is TMs only official site they don't have it sales.
  19. Clean barrel, set the hop to the weight you intend to use and actually practice shooting.
  20. No some guns will feed from any mag, some will only feed from their own brand, some will require the mag to be modified. There is absolutely no hard and fast rule and varies from gun to gun even made by the same manufacture. Only thing that can be fixed on the fly with out real knowledge and experience is barrel blockages. Even if you are technically proficient I would highly recommend not trying to open up your gun and site, that's asking for a part to ping off in a random direction never to be seen again

  23. Other than the 3 hour drive home due to road works I am a very happy boy!
  24. I always wondered if booking a place on a game day a few days after you traveled would be enough? Obviously you should actually play the game day but is that enough to give you a defense?
  25. It's been delayed repeatedly.
