Playing 22 years and mainly stuck to these... Chest rig/Webbing for outdoors, webbing is great for long games but can be a bit much for skirmish days, we don't have to lug as much weight as a real soldier, that's where I would prefer my chest rig. I generally use a Plate Carrier or "gunfighter belt" and PACA style armour for CQB games, keep it light. Generally i'd say get a few options and try each one. sell what you don't want.

Drugs/Drink with Firearms, or in this case replicas, do not mix well. This will always be a hard No from me and I expect that from any site I play at. Even in the evenings if its a weekend event, all it takes is one idiot to take something that makes their judgement lax then ND whilst fiddling with their RIF for the potential that someone will get hurt. Yes they are toys.. but without eye-pro things change.

As it says on the tin, Has anyone popped an AB++ into an ICS L85, Recently put one in my AUG but I've got one one to do for a mate's L85. Obviously the gearbox is different. Just wondering if there's anyone out there that has a wiring diagram for this as I've had a search and come up with bugger all on the Googletron. Ta muchly

23rd year of playing this year and I too hit my peak. rifles are down to 3, pistols 2, one LMG and an MP5. I've just made sure they fit in with with my Vietnam or Australian Kit fetish's, so I now spend money on that with one generic airsofter loadout.

If you want something a little more Accurate and still at a good price, head over to soldier of fortune, its good kit for airsoft and a little bit more period correct, not 80's commercial Tigers and, it doesn't break the bank. Sadly people fall into the COD Black ops trap of SOG using tigers when in reality SOG Rarely used Tigers across the fence, (generally used when they where on Hatchet force/SLAM Company duty or on the range at a FOB) Issued kit was standard Jungle Greens with labels removed, some teams sprayed black camouflaging lines on them to break up the shape, then later on ERDL Green Dominant camo was used as well . At the end of the day, wear what you want, I'm just providing an accurate description of kit actually used.. and by all means check out our website if you're interested in learning about SOG, we have some damn good interviews with Veterans. One with Jim Bolen for example. http://www.modernforces.com/veteran_jim_bolen.htm

Well ya part way there. The carbine is at least the same length and the early SOG one.... 😉 My SOG Reenactment kit..
