bought this with a few issues. Replaced the bevel gear, replaced the motor with a 25k one and fitted a Titan along with a bearing spring guide. shoots very well now and will get a run out this Sunday. Cosmetically replaced the boot stock and the only stock I had floating around was the green one but doesn't look to bad in my eyes.

looks like a version 7 but you would need to put them side by side to confirm.

just got it. I'll be using it in anger this weekend so will have a better idea by then. First impressions is it is rock solid. It's quite snappy on a 7.4 stick Lipo and all 7 mids and the hicap I got with it work ok. Slight issue when changing mag as the first shot after changing mags double feeds but that might just be the crap BB's I'm using. It is easily hopping .28g BB's, doesn't weigh as much as I was thinking it would and the only annoying thing currently is the front sling loop rattles about so I'll need to tape it up to stop it rattling. Externally it's very well put together but I can't comment on the internals yet as I haven't opened it up. One nice little touch from Acrturus is you get a spare pin retaining loop thingy just in case you loose the original.

VFC AKS74 and Arcturus Ak-12

Bought a broken SCAR L CQB recoil and after a bit of TLC it's back up and running. Upgrades are in the post. I'm toying with fitting the angry gun stock pipe but can't make up my mind on which stock to fit.

its solid to be honest. I went back to the original motor as the high speed one was junk. I've got another 25000 motor coming next week that I'll fit and get back to crazy binary fire. I had someone message me a while back as they had problems with theirs feeding but every magazine I've tried (and I've got quite a few different brands) all work fine. Taiwangun as showing as "coming soon" so you might want to hold off until they get their new shipment. I'm hoping the Tan version arrives at the same time and I'll grab one. Oh and I've S hopped the inner barrel so it now chucks .36g about 65 meters.

These externals are the same quality as the Dboys AEGs. I think the material, fit and finish is good and the hop up and inner barrel do the job but its always an option to upgrade especially if you want to increase the range.

no real reason as they will probably be very similar based on price.

Just fitted a high speed motor and the speed has went from awesome to insane especially when on binary fire. love it!

Did you see any noticable difference with the High torque motor?

I'm going to try both. I think the biggest gain will be seen with a 7.4 using a high speed motor. Using a 11.1 might be too much.

I S hopped my inner barrel and added a prometheus flat hop rubber (Blue) and a Prometheus hop tensioner (also blue) and I can now shift .36g with ease. good video and internals look good. This also saves me stripping mine until I break it

here's a couple of pictures. You can easily get a 11.1v 1200Mah LIPO inside. I've made it long enough that the stock locks into position and adds a bit more support to the extension. I'll put the extension up on thingiverse once I do a bit more tidying up of the model.

I haven't opened the gearbox yet. The main reason is it works very well and I want to run it in anger before opening the gearbox up. I've seen nothing on the build quality so far to indicate that the gearbox will be rubbish. I'm inclined to think it might actually be good inside.

inner barrel is 215mm long I also found a youtube video from DE and it looks like there will be a tan version released as well. Also of interest is DE state that if you put a better motor inside the binary firing will be even faster.

VFC gas block fitted after much swearing. It's not a direct fit and took a bit of filing, bashing etc to make it work.

I agree. Normally when I review airsoft guns there is usually some soft of negative point but I'm finding it hard to find anything slightly wrong with the DE I just reviewed. I think that if all the DE models work as well as this then the big boys are going to have to step up to compete.
