finished the first prototype. This is based on the HB industries Evo Scorpion rail. I made the 6.84 inch version but it should be easy to make the other versions now I have the basic shape. I printed out in grey as this was the filament i had in my printer and since it's a prototype it's not an issue. I'll print in Black when I'm finished messing around with a few bits.

yeah irons can be viewed through the mount. I'm actually in the process of designing and printing off a new front end. I'll post a picture when its finished.

was upgrading some of my AK's today with the Ares high torque motor and slim grip and since the weather was nice decided to take a few snaps. VFC AK74 and VFC AKS74. I still think VFC make the nicest looking AK74's. G&G AKMS with 40 round magazine and a Inokatsu AKM.

Strikeforce CQB (Swindonairsoft) in Gloucester is a good site. 2 weeks ago they decided to allow short 1 second bursts which made for an excellent day. I didn't see any cheating/not taking hits and the games are fast and furious. Highly recommend a visit. BTW - I'm not affiliated with the site in ant way.

Parts - Angry Gun Long L119A2 rail SF Slash hider Suppressor low profile gas block Laylax blank lower receiver G&P LMT Pistol grip AFG-2 Acog with RDS Magpul sling adapter Magul stock magic pin fitted to upper and lower receiver Work done so far: Modded GBB Magpul sling adapter to fit NGRS (basically dremel the bejesus out of it) Modded stock pad to accept Lipo (Stock will be changed to the correct tan one when it arrives) added extra rail cutout on top of upper receiver modeled a C7 cocking handle and 3D printed as a prototype and making sure its a good fit before getting some laser cut (green thing) Things still to do: fit the correct stock get the trades done add a 620V torch and dual switch for the torch and Peq fit a mosfet (BTC, DTM or Gates when they eventually release it) get the C7 lever laser cut

any CAD software can be used and they are a few easy to use programs as well (Sketchup and the microsoft 3d program it's part of windows 10). I use Sketchup as it serves my purpose and it's very easy to use. Once you make a model you need to convert it to .stl and open it with the supplied software the printer comes with. This will slice the object and print it out and if you want it will also save it to gcode. if this sounds complex it's actually not that hard to do.

I use this one: LINKY a roll of filament will cost around a tenner and will make 1 kg worth of 3d models. from a roll I'd probbaly be able to make 10 or 12 of the shotgun holders

I went for this design in the end and it works well. Anyone who wants one can download it free from here (not before tomorrow afternoon due to thingiverse rules). Thinking more along the lines of this: http://www.officer.com/product/10874378/mesa-tactical-sureshell-shotshell-carrier-and-rail-system-for-kel-tec-ksg Gas tank is a pain to remove because the butt stock is tight, fitting the shell is fiddly, gas tank is good for about 70 pumps, the top rail on mine was a bit loose which is very unlike TM but apart from these niggles it's very fun to shoot. The sound it makes is very satisfying and for CQB out to around 30 meters it's very good. If you don't like gas then get the AA12 with a drum magazine but if you fancy trying gas then the KSG or Breacher are fun to shoot.

bought the KSG shotgun and added a few accessories. After checking out the accessories on the Keltec site I decided to make the Kydex cheek piece they had advertised. Just need one of the after market companies to start making shell holders etc
