not overly sure tbh, just whistling into the breeze here, but potentially you have a "heavy" piston being pushed by a light spring maybe with the 1:12 ratio your getting double feeds as the gears are doing more than 1 rotations before engaging the piston again however the titan should be stopping that from happening have you checked your titan setting are set up properly also if you have not alot of power check that precocking isnt turned on apart from that not sure mate

Aye my gen1 552 and aimpoint T2 do work well under NODS, the 552 especially, as you say just floats over the target like a ring of death IKR... gna take forever to come out

Aye this was the forerunner until we saw the dbals for a good price and jumped on them, also the zeroable IR illuminator Was this for the vis laser in green?

Truth, ppl be dumb sometimes (all the time in certain cases) I now have a conundrum of trying to mod the dbal for LED IR and a lower power laser, or selling it on and trying out the soon to be released SOMOGEAR PEQ or NGAL

You could be right on the visible laser, i must have overlooked that But yea deffo too strong for the field but does make me wonder why they are so popular if they are so dangerous. i can understand Nod users wanting to use them for plinking in the garden, but the more im reading into it the more im baffled by people running them in games

Yea this is what is concerning me and my mate. 10mW seems to be stupidly powerful, especially considering the low power is actually just high power on pulsed to prolong the battery life. We are all for using lasers when running NODS but the last thing i want to do is flash someone with a 10mW laser. Yeh i did see the post from ATRG, however he didnt really go into the safety side of things, Tim from THG also did a review on them but says he doesnt use the illuminator, however he has now moved onto a russian designator. I read from a canadian forum that the laser is a 10mW from a correspondence with G&P direct. I wondering how many people are using them in games, or whether they are just using these units for plinking in the garden, as they seem to he highly sought after.

Hi All I have recently purchased the Dbal A2 peq and have heard that it is actually too powerful to be fielded in games due to the IR laser being a class3 , and the IR illuminator is also a laser with a lens on the front dispersing the beam over a wider area. Does anyone know if this is true? or is it all scare mongering? I read somewhere that the laser is a 10mW Does anyone here use them in games? This seems to be a contentious subject on the canadian airsoft forums and usually devolves into people shouting at each other, so i was wondering what the consensus was in the UK. Starting to think i should have done more research before i bought it... Thanks Alicks

Mate, this is what i have done. Thrown out my jefftron v2 processors and getting a titan just make sure you get the correct one, basic or advanced as they are both different, and you can only upgrade the basic to the advanced functions by buying the software update.

Oh dear, motors will do that if the wiring is not compacted enough. Or if you decide to use thick insulation 14awg wire....

Your going through my hell first you buy the belt, then you realize you no longer like the pouches you had!! so you convince yourself to get esstacs, on a side note the triple mag with gap fits the belt perfectly with malice, even tho it says it isnt compatible with molle

Just picked up, and used last saturday the new Umarex/VFC/Stark Glock 17 Delux Co2, the thing is an absolute beauty and a real beast to shoot. The mags are also really gas efficient getting nearly 4 mag reloads out of a single co2 bulb I would highly recommend them

Fired scar up this morning and shoots like a dream. Looks like i was flapping for nothing. How do you know if its shimmed and greased correctly? Is there a optimum sound i should be hearing? It has a pleasant wurring sound atm. But i dont know if this is the correct one. Cheers Alex

Thats very reasuring, cheers on my other gun (the cheep CYMA keymod that you have) the sector gear only have a small pin so i have never seen a tappet plate getting stuck back before... was freaking me out as its the first time i have done my own tech stuff. I took my cyma to a tech and he messed it up so badly that i have taken to doing it all my self, its still in pieces as i broke the moto connector on the wiring and keep forgetting to pick one up. Will putt it fully back together tonight and put some rounds through it. Didint want to put it back together only to take it appart... scars are awful on the selector switches!! Many thanks Alex

Hi all I have just stripped, cleaned, re shimmed and re-assembled the V2 gearbox for my WE scar. However when i have put it back together and test fired it the tappet plate stays retracted and comes forward when fired only to retract again. When i put it together the plate is fully extended and can be pushed back and forward on its spring and runs along the tracks correctly ( i checked with a torch). The only thing i can think of is the sector gear has quite a large molded chip on it not just the usual round peg, more like a crescent. Could this be causing the tappet to be pulled back most of the time as it is so large? Or have i missed something important when putting it back together? Also the piston doesn't reset to its original position at the front but stops at different stages of its run ( if you get what i mean). Is this caused my over-spin on the gears? Hi thanks for the replies. I am getting my local tech to look at it, he is also going to install the sector chip to see if it fixes the problem. I had a thieory that the combination of the motor and batery causing the tappet plate retturning to quick for the bbs to feed, but im not realy techy on aegs so it couldbe anything. Cheers Alicks
