Bought a couple bottles o' Nuprol 2.0. Fired my Masada on Guarder Black Power Up out of curiosity and it chrono'd at 480 - 500fps! The barrel is only like 8". I feel as if it will still be hot on 2.0 so I will have to reduce the FPS further. Also bought this tacticool jacket from a dude in an alleyway - swears it is genuine Crye multiglam! 😎

O-rings are a great solution to rectifying alignment with flash hiders and the like, in my experience! Chuck one of those on the threads and you can generally screw it on pretty tight against the O-ring 😅 Grub screw is far more effective, however. Gotta dress it up like it is in the game!

As he had to design/model it first, I assume the price is a bit higher for me as opposed to if he were to sell another But for the design & manufacturing, it was £50. You have the option to send him a donor flash hider to mount it to, also. Flash hider I used has a grub screw so I can tighten it up with the suppressor having the correct orientation. As it is 3D printed, it is very light. Would definitely recommend Hextac - I have bought a few custom things off of him and he works pretty fast! You can find him on Facebook. But you are correct regarding the gun, looks a bit too crazy for most of them!

Bit of history! I was looking back on old photos and found a few of my second ever RIF 😅 In fact, I have not owned an AEG since this one. These photos are from August 2015 and I believe it was the first time that I had ever started buying attachments (as you can probably tell...) It was a King Arms Blackwater BW15 Carbine. Loved it because it had a cool tubular handguard. Never actually got it to fire though. Ended up selling it as parts, back when Facebook sales were a thing. Anyway, onto the pictures! Here it was in it's final form. Two grips because I was l33t op3r8r. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world at this point. I do miss it, actually. Although I would only have one grip this time around!

I sure hope I do 😫 Although I still need to buy a case, kinda forgot about that small part 😂

I never bat and eye lid when I spend on airsoft, no matter the cost, but anything else... I just spent 1.7k on PC components and I am just thinking about how much airsoft stuff I could have bought 😥 All the shiny stuff 😭

WE MSK looked cool but it was overall poo. Half cycled constantly on full auto (Maybe went 75% of the way occasionally) causing a drastically fluctuating ROF, and sometimes cycled under 50% which meant that the hammer would not reset and so you would have to pull the charging handle again. I assume this is because they got rid of the rollers for this particular gun, for whatever reason. FPS was also all over the place. Similar issue in semi and the gas efficiency was crap, but that was expected from the WE STANAGs. Pmag was *slightly* better. Stock button snapped almost immediately. Had to buy 2 replacements. Outer barrel was wobbly as hell, on both the standard and CQB barrels. The MSK fire selector was also stiffer than Johnny Sins on set. The MSK was also missing little details like the shell deflector and the QD points just behind the handguard - they just put screws instead. Long story short, it was the worst GBBR I have ever owned, by far. I have no idea how or why WE decided to actually release it. The PTS Masada, however, is a masterpiece.

After about a month, it is complete. It is the build I am most proud of and I believe the Masada/ACR platform to be my absolute favourite out of the many I have owned. I came up with the build (after a few iterations) on PimpMyGun (I am sure a lot of you are familiar) and I believe I made it pretty close! Rifle is the PTS Masada GBBR. As usual, I went way over budget but I am very happy! Components: Hephaestus recoil kit Elcan SpectreDR 1-4x w/ mini red dot (Repro) Magpul PTS ranger plates Magpul PTS MOE RVG Magpul PTS aluminium Masada rail system Surefire x300 flashlight (Repro) WE MSK flash hider As I posted earlier, I got the outer and inner barrels shortened by LCS Engineering Outpost as I prefer shorter guns and I only wanted the flash hider to be visible out of the rail system. I did not want the gas block back either, as I thought it was rather unsightly and detracted from the overall aethestic. Anyway, on to the pictures! Also a very short firing video. Sent my PTS Masada GBB outer and inner barrel to LCS Engineering outpost a few weeks back to get shortened and rethreaded, and it is now back with me! He did an absolutely amazing job. Super clean work. Time to fit it back in the gun and basically complete the build 😉 I believe the outer barrel was 14.5" before being cut down, for reference. Now it is basically half that. Thankfully they are ridiculously tight on the mag 😅 Have to knock them a few times with something heavy to get them back off

The 10 Magpul PTS ranger plates and PTS MOE RVG have arrived! Well, technically I missed the delivery yesterday by 7 minutes (😐) and collected them today. PTS Masada/ACR build is now 90% done. Just waiting for my shortened outer barrel to be returned to me! 😀 Long overdue but I also bought a chronograph. Lastly, some Guarder black power up gas (preparing for winter already!), 3300 Nuprol RZR .28 BBs and a PTS EPM GBB magazine.

One day, I will own a UBR. Just not a day coming any time soon 😭 Interested to see them installed!

Well, the kit arrived today and took about 3 minutes to install, no issues at all. It definitely ups the recoil and RoF, as expected! So far, I am very happy with it, it'll definitely be staying installed. The recoil now reminds me of my old GHK G5 with RATech steel bolt I will probably do some testing later to see how it impacts the gas efficiency, how much weight has been added to the bolt, etc Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to go back to shooting it 😅
