The way I see it is, Milsim is for players who want to look like the real thing and take things more serious than the usual skirmisher and not arse about quite as much but it's still absolutely nothing like the real thing, nowhere near. The fact that it's still grown men pretending makes whole mindset, location and pressure of a Milsim not realistic apart from to look at. Edit... I can't really explain what I mean lol, but that's no way supposed to be a Milsim put down as I do enjoy it it! I'm sure you get me.. But you did explain it well to the layman

As title, what's your maximum range you can consistently hit a man size target with your go to AEG? I'd prefer actual measured distances for comparison.. I'm at 150' in nil wind, most shots hit but being an airsoft there'll be the odd flyer or 5 😂

There's nothing left to upgrade on my g63 that'll make it any "better" for CQB and general skirmishing so I've been fancying a sniper...same as the g63 everything will be upgraded as I'm wanting an accurate 500 fps beast I'm after a Remington 700 style as I like the simple lines, so what over soon should I use as a base JG bar 10, TM vsr g spec, TM VSR pro, or any other brand. I don't have a budget ( as long as the wife doesn't know) I this there lots of info out there but lots of it is conflicting. Also sniper parts UK seen to be Sheffield based, I like dealing with UK people too, helps keep businesses running. So, tell me about snipers...

Like proffrink says sort your existing set up ( unless its absolutely rubbish) the £160 you want to spend on something new can make what you have awesome. I felt the same when I got my JG g63c and was playing on big sites outdoors. First thought was get something bigger and better then looked in to it more, and relised no matter what you buy new you'll need to upgrade if you want to have good range and rof, now I'm the one out ranging and have a higher rof than most things, and the best part is it's easy to do once you get all the info together Trawl through all the forums and decide what's best to make your current gun what you want.

Mine, JG G36c. just a torch and red dot on the outside, lots of shit going on inside though...I like the lack of fuss about the G36c,for CQB it's very effective
