Thanks for the reply, the gold match has classic looks and I like it too. but I think he wants more bling... There's split slide versions I see, not sure if they any better tho. They all seem to be tracer compatible which appeals. There's an overwhelming amount of choice. 😆

No idea about Hi-Capa's but that tends to be the favourable thing when it comes to gas related pistols. I do quite like how the "Gold Match" looks though haha They'll be removable, usually by two screws (either phillips or allan usually)

Hi all, it's my lads birthday soon and he wants his own shiney new pistol. We already have an ssp2 so I'm thinking another hi capa would be ideal. I'm assuming id be able to use the existing mags with either? He wants a gold one. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Is it worth spending more for the Tokyo marui one? Or just get one of the cheaper clones? I see some with integrated/attached red dot sight, are they removable or permanently attached please. Many thanks.

Hadron Pegasus GBB Hop Unit for the TAC-41
Makyong replied to Fatboy40's topic in Single Action Guns
Hi, good day. Pegasus gbb hop chamber was just released officially on the market yesterday hence no one is talking about it, much. Currently, am running both aeg and gbb hop/ barrel system on my TAC41A. GBB type just seals and shoots better. No plans of changing my current hop up system until Hadron announced and released the Pegasus video. I was sold by the impressive barrel, bucking and hop up air seal. The design was more likely similar to EDGI tac41 gbb hop up prototype 4 years ago. But yes, I placed an order, in 2 weeks time it will be on hand. EDGI is my go to barrel, he can cut the barrel according to my specs. My type 96 and LTm40a3 bolty are both running with edgi 5.98mm inner barrels without any issue. -

Anyone changed out an inner barrel yet? What type is required and recommendations if any? Just wondering if it is worth doing?

You can get the Holy Warrior version of that LPVO for £250. What's so special about his repro that it's worth the same amount yet he's presumably not paying VAT?

I was 95% sure I know the site you're talking about as its portaloos are shocking, even by festival standards. Mentioning that it's an ex-RAF airfield is redundant at that point.

Another stonkin' Andreyy deal: https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/gas-powered_1/ks-1-kac-royal-marines-commandos_i87164 Land Warrior do it new for £750 and even with all those extra trinkets, £1200 is a joke.

Any ideas what's required to run a one off site?
Pseudotectonic replied to Mtemprell's topic in General Discussion
A carefully written waiver can be useful, if only just to record the participants are informed of and acknowledge the risks involved. A private game with some friends of friends is really no different than any other game run by an actual commercial site, the only difference is, you are personally liable because you are not a company. (If not covered by your insurance) Even a one-off event you still should do everything a commercial site would do, set up parameters, clean up the place a bit, remove risks, provide facilities, etc. Make sure the barn is not gonna collapse etc. -

The biggest cringe I remembered was a team of speedsofters in their purple and white uniforms at the Battery. In fairness, a couple of them were reasonable but one player was the most insufferably self-satisfied twat who took play and himself far too seriously and had no self-awareness. Even in CQB, you may have to give your opponent the benefit of the doubt with hit taking because you may not feel a torso hit if you're wearing a plate carrier - just shoot a different part of the body. One of the speedsofters (on Blue team) claimed to land a hit on an opponent on Red team but the latter didn't call it. Speedy boi had a go at in the game but the marshal nearby reminded him with short shrift to take it up with a marshal and not to have argue over hit calling and that it was mentioned in the briefing. Back in the safe zone after the game, the speedy boi confronted the Red team player and had a go despite the marshal's warning. It started to get heated but the speedy boi came up with an absolute howler "We're a serious team and we play by the rules." putting his hand on his chest in the most smug Will McKenzie fashion. The Red team player was initially pissed off but he scoffed and laughed at the speedy boi taking himself so seriously. Another game I was in at the Battery had the same speedy boi team with the same self-satisfied player who insisted he shot an opponent but a marshal and I both had a better line of sight than he did and he clearly didn't as the BBs went a good foot wide to the left of the opponent's shoulder yet McKenzie swore he hit the target, which to be fair probably was true as I assume his target was the thin air to the left of his opponent.

Lead marshal at a well known site in Suffolk (Ex RAF airfield...) Throwing a full blown tantrum at lunch time because someone had pissed on the portaloo seat was both equally funny, tragic and cringe Yes feet were stomped, yes there was shouting, yes we were all called dirty c*&ts, yes the scrawny fecker promised to knock out the pee offender followed with the threat of a lifetime ban, no me and my pals haven't been back since (Also no we didn't do the peeing - we chose a far nicer tree to relieve ourselves against as opposed a dirty portaloo in the middle of summer!) Don't get me wrong - peeing on the seat is a bit grim, but watching a man child have a full blown temper tantrum - was not expecting that! Also side note - didn't appreciate this Marshall make comments regarding "mongs" and "mong like behaviour" during his briefing. I'm by no means a snowflake, but having previously worked with SEN kids and adults, that just wasn't funny - no matter how many times he dropped it into the briefing...
