    Great reply and suggestions, thanks. I have been using the full face masks at the site I shoot at, although I did buy my son his own mask. I think I will get a full face mask as suggested. We both wear cheapish goggles when target shooting in the garage with paintball and now airsoft as there's no one shooting back at us. That's really what I brought these for. Cheers. Rick.

    EN 166 B is the lowest rating for airsoft, these look to be EN 166 F which would be not airsoft safe If like me you need glasses to be able to see, I've been using these with inserts for the past 7 years: https://www.bztactical.co.uk/nuprol-battle-pro-eye-protection-with-insert-grey-frame-smoke-lens and have taken many a shot to the lenses with them and survived. I would recommend something full seal though honestly. Bloc are highly rated and I am tempted to jump over to them myself however the pricing is a bit off putting - However you can't really replace an eye should it get damaged so 🤷‍♂️ My Dad uses a Dye mask over his glasses (Which are quite a large frame) too which is another good option!

    My plan was a few 4 or 5mm holes on the top and bottom of the frame, not to touch the lenses themselves. Would that be ok? I think I'll shoot them a few times before I rely on them. Id like a better quality set for sure. I also wear glasses which I assume adds an extra layer of safety? But I really know bugger all about airsoft and would never argue with the experts...     Make sure they're actually rated for airsoft and be careful with cutting into them, it could weaken the lenses and cause them to lose their strength

EMG R611-3 Staccato P (Army Armament OEM, £130 new) bought from new, has been fired at some targets but no real heavy use. Has a nice kick and nice feeling to it. Replica WADSN X300 (£50 new) and Replica Sotac (I believe) Trijicon trademarked RMR (£52 new) Has a Maple Leaf AUTOBOT 50 Degree bucking and Maple Leaf inner barrel fitted - I messed up on the size slightly and the barrel sticks out a little as seen in the image, hence the thread adapter fitted.     Had a successful game day last weekend with the OSW It’d be remiss not to treat it to an upgrade and a little add on as a treat The steel sling point fits beautifully, and feels way nicer than the Magpul one I had on previously as a place holder I’m still dicking around with the hand stop to find an optimal position for it, I may flip it round and have it forward a touch

    They're a real pain to disassemble and work on. Lots of tiny screws holding fragile plastic parts. Fun for indoor play, not good for outdoor.

    I have one of the GE shotguns (albeit a model with the stock). With mine, I had to Hpa it to get any usable range (i.e more than 20m), and at that 20m range, the spread of shot from the three barrels is significantly bigger than a human body. Given the generally positive reviews of them, I can't help but feel I ended up with a bit of a lemon though.
