Hi i'm new here and as you can tell its my 1st post.

On Sunday I went shooting with 20 other people most of whom brought Amazing guns or £200 Snipers. I borrowed a AK-47 to start with but as there were limited guns ended up with a rubbish pistol. Really good fun though but never got to shoot anybody. This got rather annoying especially as around 10 of the players are on professional 18+ Air Soft teams. Nether the less I ended up really enjoying it.

I know it's tight "and yes I have marksman556 beginners guide, very helpful indeed. But I have a budget of £50, that would include goggles. It would be nice if my included these features:

1) VERY reliable, wont break easily and if it does easy to fix

2) Easy to use ( light, loading, filling with BB's and fast working )

3) Good accuracy would be nice, some guns either go meters high or meters low

4) Not automatic because they use to many bullets.

5) No pistols or snipers.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could direct me to a UK website / shop that sells a gun for me with goggles for £50 MAX.

Thanks, any help greatly appreciated. I think I heard somewhere that one site gives you a FREE pistol if you spend over a certain amount.

In your budget range, and I am also assuming you are under 18, is one of these.

But you do need to be over 18 to buy it, or get your parents to buy it.

if you raise your budget to about £150 then you can get a very good Cyma cm028 Ak47, which is a crackingly good starter gun, or a cyma ak beta spetznatz for the same price. The £150 would also give you a few magazines and battery as well. However they are automatic guns, and being AK's don't have a single shot function (or at least should not )

First, what site gave you a pistol to play with?

And you will need around £100 - £150

The cost of one barrel in my M4 ws £50, so your budget needs to grow abit.

Well I went shooting with around 20people most of whom had spare guns and they ended giving me one "that they got for free" to me free, but it broke yesterday,

Would something like this not do because it holds enough bullets and is under £50

Private farmers field / woods with a few deserted building, "yes we had permission of the farmer" and all the guns were orange/red except one guy who brought down a black one that he claimed was fully licensed. He didn't use it though. Why?

Just wondering so I can try help more.

If you're just going to play there, then the gun you found and posted above will probably be suitable.

But if you're going to go to 'proper' airsoft skirmishes at registered sites, then you will need something a bit better, costing about £100-£150 rather than £30-£50.

I would go to some proper sites mate, you dont want to get in trouble for using someone elses land even if they do let you.

And just think what you are missing!

If you're on a tight budget then it might be worth considering a shottie...

I had a friend who started out with just a two-tone M3 and he got on suprisingly well with it. You can pick them up fairly cheaply and theyre shell loaded, decent range and spread, non-auto and more or less idiot-proof.

I would reccomend that you look towards investing your ££'s in some decent eye protection though.
