Austeyr Posted yesterday at 16:40 Share Posted yesterday at 16:40 Just seen this beauty on ProAct, looks lovely and at a good price too (Of course it'll need importing) https://www.proactstore.com/products/vfc-l403a1-gbb-fde?fbclid=IwY2xjawMISvNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFpQnpFaWowV1BybDVkcWllAR6m4lD2cdw5-YthKei7E-amlZphBRopYm_0N-wWFMnsekCgbtQ2NPzpN8DfOA_aem_xZyQBxjW-klDHKPL_TVLRA Guess it's about time I bought a modern VFC AR 😂 Galvatron, HZR13 and ButcherBill
GiantKiwi Posted yesterday at 16:54 Share Posted yesterday at 16:54 (edited) I'm buying one when I have the funds, it fixes most of my issues with the VFC platform in one foul swoop. No guide hop bullshit, using the hop setup from the MCX's. One piece steel outer barrel, instead of the segmented bullshit held together with grub screws (something that WE managed to do as standard 15 fucking years ago). Steel BCG and FCG as standard. I bought my MWS purely for the AG kit until I saw it was a grand so this is a nice surprise, plus I've been wanting to get an APFG which will use the same mags as this so two birds one stone with me. Reckon it'll be about £600 over here? 🤔

Scratch 70% percent, been informed the wholesale price is about 70% of what proact are selling it to normal customers, so thats more than 100% markup. Your entire 'store'? At worst case, import tax and duty is 23.2%. Price for PPSH on raresoft £634.99 - https://www.raresoft.co.uk/product-page/vfc-ppsh-gbbr Price for PPSH to normal customers through proact - £364.38 where wholesale is approximately 70% of the price of the listed https://www.proactstore.com/en/products/vfc-ppsh41-gbb Edited 8 hours ago by GiantKiwi

And if it was that simple, why are no other stores in the UK hundreds of pounds cheaper for the same thing because of who they're getting it from? Why would any store price themselves out of the market and encourage people to shop from overseas stores, when they can just make a profit by not doing that? After shipping costs (which you've missed) and taxes, maybe you'll pay around £600 from Proact. Shipping is often £100+ on airsoft guns. If I could buy it for 30% less than you can directly....why wouldn't I, or literally any UK business just sell it for more or less the same price as it would work out for you after fees, and still have that margin? 1st commando
so as i did a quote for a ppsh from Pro act i can actually break down the costs Gun - £364.38 shipping £105 so add those together and add 23% brings my estimate to £577.

Lyndication
Proactstore offers cheaper prices if you buy over about £1k at a time and have a registered business address tbf. It's why WhatsApp groups are full of suspiciously cheap GBBRs right now from 3-4 users. You need to buy like idk 4 PPSh at once to qualify. Once again proving how much of numpty you are. EMS is a network of postal services, not a postal service. HongKongPost is significantly more expensive than ChungwaPost, so much so that you seem to have spent time finding the most expensive option to make a point. Shall we talk about how you got banned from Heavy Recoil Club because of shady practices? And then tried to circumvent the ban and got banned on the circumvented profile? Care to quote what they are, or are you going to still waffle on about something else you don't understand? You're more than welcome to showcase what your shipping prices are after your proact order for a rifle 👍 They were literally the shipping options presented. You can call me a numpty, but the fact is if you believe margins are anywhere close to 100% for airsoft guns in the UK (try removing a zero, you're much closer), then every single UK airsoft retailer would like a word. BenJackson
3 minutes ago, GiantKiwi said: I'm not sure you want shady practices elaborated on, but sure: Because there are no "shady practices". I don't run business that way. The "patch" aka this kit, which I ran for about 6 years with no issues either in person or online until HRC, weird. I only put that together because I found the K98K. You can complain about anyone in the Frontlines Airsoft Discord too who also do historical kits, who are a great bunch of guys. Yeah I made some comments about that too, look at the rules about the server and how militant and childlike they are. Never had any issues anywhere before, or since, and certainly not related to the way in which I conduct business 👍 HRC has its own reputation, and its not just coming from me. I'll leave it at that, as this has far detracted from the original point of this thread. HZR13 and ButcherBill
Moderators Tackle Posted 3 hours ago Moderators Share Posted 3 hours ago Guys, im gonna say this one time, play nice, no name calling etc, & here we judge people by their conduct HERE, not on lesser platforms in years gone by. The ignore option is there for a reason, ive got a few members on mine, suggest if you don't like or agree with someone's opinion, block them so you don't see them & feel the need to get in to a row. Lyndication
Hey Ben, quick business tip: VFC products are manufactured in Taiwan and ProAct is their primary wholesaler in-country. So much so that you can special order any VFC part off-catalogue and they'll send a guy out to collect it from VFC. Products imported to HK have wholesale deals but are still paying for shipping and then a little bit for the shop itself. WGC and the rest are great, but there's a bit of extra being put on there to keep their lights on. It makes a lot more sense to buy from Proact on a wholesale account using large orders as previously mentioned. You can get some great deals that way! Hope this helps you grow your business.
