therobbafett Posted Sunday at 15:24 Share Posted Sunday at 15:24 (edited) So long story short. bought this slide kit https://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/product/pts-syndicate-airsoft-zev-g17-prizefighter-slide-kit-for-leupold-dp-pro-10119 had it fitted by my local tech and shoots great, now time to fit a dot on her. so after double checking it has a Leupold delta footprint. bought this dot https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/novritsch-micro-red-dot-sight-v2 as it states fits Leupold delta. anyway. It’s just a tad too long and won’t fit to the slide, as zev iron sight is in the way. Any help would be much appreciated, plate adapter links, 3d print help, anything at this point or the dot will go back/sold and she’ll have to stay naked. Supporters Lozart Posted Monday at 09:36 Supporters Share Posted Monday at 09:36 Can you not just take the ironsight off? I thought the whole point of having a red dot on a pistol was to replace the irons not add to them?

MistakenMexican Posted Monday at 15:13 Share Posted Monday at 15:13 Sounds like the optic isn’t right. if it were me, I’d modify the existing sights to make them fit. Alternatively a set of trijicon style gen3 supressor sights should give you enough space to mount the optic.

JimFromHorsham Posted Wednesday at 10:28 Share Posted Wednesday at 10:28 Probably just shonky clone tolerances , be it your RDS or the slide itself , check the slide dimensions - DPP Footprint Galvatron, therobbafett and Lozart 2

therobbafett Posted Wednesday at 17:47 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 17:47 Yeah so it looks like it could probably fit, but there is a slight curve/bulge to the back of the dot. So that is stopping the dot from sitting tight to the plate will have to go back or sale Thanks for all the input

therobbafett
Follow up question. one of those Universal mount plate/adapter plates from Ali express or similar should hold the bbu in place and take a dot shouldn’t it?
