Ron_Lancs Posted Thursday at 19:08 Share Posted Thursday at 19:08 Hello there, I recently turned my nuprol m4 14.5” (leave it alone it’s alright) into a cqbr length 10” barrel. The front sight post wobbles, I know different makes have different tolerances and as such you’ll never get a perfect fit 100% of the time. I’ve done my rounds on here and also YouTube. Nothing on how to remedy this. Electrical tape to pack it out then hammer pins in? I’m considering epoxy however this could cause issues in the future and I’d have to get it right first time haha! Any help would be welcomed. I used to be quite active on this forum pre & during covid but had a nipper and bowed out for a while, I know this is a great community and I look forward to some hopefully helpful advice. Thanks in advance Ron
ButcherBill Posted Thursday at 19:12 Share Posted Thursday at 19:12 The holes in the sight post might simply be narrower than they need to be to tightly fit in the barrel grooves. JinxDuh and Ron_Lancs 1
Ron_Lancs Posted Thursday at 19:25 Author Share Posted Thursday at 19:25 (edited) Mmm managed to locate a secret grub screw below the sling mount. Seems to have worked it’s held on by sheer determination. Thanks Edited Thursday at 19:26 by Ron_Lancs Rogerborg, Lozart and ButcherBill
