Alternatively there will be an inevitable APFG/VFC for cheaper. Apparently people have already converted VFC M110s into XM5s...

I have a friend who has ordered one and a bunch of spare mags, both green gas and co2. He's been waiting for it for the better part of a year and has been really looking forward to it coming out. I've got my fingers crossed for him that it's good, because they're incredibly expensive!

 

Makes my MTW 308 look cheap by comparison ?

And it's a gas gun, so mags are £60 each. If it was me, I'd want green gas and co2 ones as well, so I could use co2 when it's cold and green gas when it's warm. I totaled up what I would buy and I'd be looking at about £2000 + scope + extra external accessories for the 16" version. I think all in for everything I'd be looking at £2500, which is probably about double the price of my mk12 mod1 MWS setup
