I'm stuck between the two, the standard, original M4 handguard, with the batteries inside, or the RIS handguard, with a PEQ box.

Which do you prefer the looks of and the practicality of?

Thanks.

Are you going to mount anything else on the ris?

I doubt it. I have a foregrip, but makes no difference if I use it or not, so yeah.

I may want a torch, but I can get a barrel mount for that. Can't think of anything else..

Then logic suggests to go 'old school' with plain handguards ;)

I voted original because you can get peq boxs with a built in torch and laser and the handgaurd will house the battery that and it will make it more unique as i dont see people using the original handgaurd

Yeah, was thinking that. I'll get the original one.. Now to find one that'll fit my gun, they should all be standard, same sized, right?
