Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 I'm stuck between the two, the standard, original M4 handguard, with the batteries inside, or the RIS handguard, with a PEQ box. Which do you prefer the looks of and the practicality of? Thanks.
Supporters M_P Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 I voted ris, but it depends which one, CASV, dd, noveske andv larue are all nice but i don't like the kac unless its on an l119
Supporters Nutster Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Are you going to mount anything else on the ris?
Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Author Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 I doubt it. I have a foregrip, but makes no difference if I use it or not, so yeah. I may want a torch, but I can get a barrel mount for that. Can't think of anything else..
Supporters Nutster Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Then logic suggests to go 'old school' with plain handguards
Supporters TPI Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 I voted original because you can get peq boxs with a built in torch and laser and the handgaurd will house the battery that and it will make it more unique as i dont see people using the original handgaurd
Supporters M_P Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 If u want rails u can always attach one to your handguard anyway
Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Author Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Yeah, was thinking that. I'll get the original one.. Now to find one that'll fit my gun, they should all be standard, same sized, right?
Supporters M_P Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Unless u have an ICS it should take any (apart from ICS)
Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Author Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Oh good, G&P have good quality externals right?
Supporters M_P Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Yup, external wise g&p are brilliant
Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Author Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Good, the build quality will be good too? I found G&P handguard for £21 lol
Supporters Nutster Posted August 13, 2011 Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Again I've got some hand guards going spare £10?
Supporters Liam Porter Posted August 13, 2011 Author Supporters Posted August 13, 2011 Well £10 beats £21 from Fire Support.. What other M4 parts you got spare? :L
