Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted August 8, 2011 Supporters Share Posted August 8, 2011 I know that Inokatsu make the uber gas M4 that I would kill to own one of, but is it really THAT good? Or are you all talking about an AEG they make that I'm unaware of when you tell people that "G&P is the best for internals and externals, short of Systema or Ino"? Also, there was this bloke with a Systema M4 last time I went skirmishing and I thought the build of it looked a bit crap, it seemed to lack the finer details, the colour looked off... Only thing was that it performed flawlessly, could hit a pin head at 5 million yards and could hit people a mile away. I always thought that the military simulation type guns were just supposed to perform well, feel the same and share the same functional features, not be all round 100% exact to the real steel. It wasn't that he had a cheap crappy one either, if there is such a thing, he said it set him back £1,500! So what is the deal about them? The price is the only thing I'm finding that's epically jaw dropping, what am I missing?
Supporters M_P Posted August 8, 2011 Supporters Share Posted August 8, 2011 Well milsim is.... military simulation so it needs to be the closest thing available. All systemas from stochk generally need modding by tackleberry before being completely usable. The ino is pretty much the best gbbr with a massive kick, They both perform really well and have the best build quality- internally and externally
Callum Snell
I personally own a Systema PTW. They're just incredible. I can put 9 out of ten rounds into a coke can at 125 yards. And I'm firing at EXACTLY 357 FPS. That's better range then you'll EVER see on an AEG or gas weapon.
Supporters M_P Posted September 20, 2011 Supporters Share Posted September 20, 2011 Presumably yours has been to tack's?

What do you mean fit aegs? The ptw gearbox can't even be compared to a standard airsoft gearbox. The mp5 / tw5 is supposed to be better than the m4's however you can only get 40rd mags so ud be better of with a ptw instead... but ud need to get used to aiming properly due to mids. Id still get a gbbr tbh, ptw's are made to be realistic, but why buy one when u can get a gbbr. If you want realism buy an ino or custom build a wa based gbbr. I think custom building a gbb would be more fun too. At the end of the day it comes down to if you want realism I guess.

Supporters M_P Posted September 20, 2011 Supporters Share Posted September 20, 2011 Systemas are completely different to aeg's, I'd send it to tack if it broke, he knows what he's doing. They're different internally to aeg's in every way, is not risk the amount they're worth by trying myself. gbbr's are even more simple than aegs to fix, its a lot easier to locate and fix any problems

Supporters M_P Posted September 20, 2011 Supporters Share Posted September 20, 2011 As have I but I still wouldn't touch the inside of the gearbox or cylinder, everything needs to be very precise to run smoothly. And with the money it costs to kit one out decently £1500+ I'd rather let a professional do it.
