Managed to get hold of someone through the customs option (thanks LMKipper). She sent me a RIF declaration, filled out and sent back and they just updated to say they have everything they need and then sent an invoice today which wasn’t too painful. Hopefully I’ll be in the 249 club by the weekend 🙏🏽

Awesome news on both counts ! You are going to love it , they are sooooo much fun .

Be interesting to see how long a couple of 45g capsules last in a game.

That CO2 is £3 a pop, it might be worth selling whats left of my dignity and go HPA, rather than just leave it sat like an expensive paper weight in the corner.

It sounds like you want to sell me your M249. 👀

I've been running mine on hpa recently , but still with the stick mags. It's a very easy and quick swap , so I can still use the green gas box mag when I dont want the line.

Ran the 249 today . Used the hpa line but stick mags . I'm not a massive fan of hpa , but it is a convienient way of running the 249 . Got lots of solid kills with it . It's just so much fun to use and constantly impresses , and the sound is awesome.

Going to drop the power a bit though , despite being comfortably inside site limit a couple of the guys I hit had some proper welts .

I've ordered the railed hand guard for it too to change the look a bit.

I bought a Midwest Industries for my A&K 249. Beautifully made piece. Unfortunately not a direct fit though.

Found a suitable CO2 cylinder for you guys with the VFC:
