The boy’s got a 1911 that appears to possibly be a WE Kimber and the magazine’s gone defective. There are no markings, bar “45 ACP” on the barrel at the ejection port, externally or internally and doesn’t have the frame rail that I’ve seen on other images, although it does appear to be drilled and tapped to take a screw on adapter.

Help in identifying so I can buy the correct replacement mag appreciated!  Either that or I’m forking out for a new sidearm…IMG_7645.thumb.jpeg.e8c9d7199ac89f0cbe80c99009022726.jpegIMG_7646.thumb.jpeg.bfc131b27ea796b716725cc9338f7e7d.jpegIMG_7647.thumb.jpeg.7d2883e94498dd5908869d79c7a5a644.jpegIMG_7644.thumb.jpeg.c5f56cced56d5a7c39321ef3648f5e3f.jpegIMG_7643.thumb.jpeg.920e8a8f845449efc7a5fef2a4e66b5d.jpeg

Venting gas from every orifice. Although I’ve come back to it this morning to give it a go and it seems to be ok so far…

3rd photo, from web, that appears to match and makes me think it’s a WE…

I think I have an answer, thanks to @MILITATED and an ad he’s posted that I saw whilst casually browsing potential replacements. WE it is.

Definitely a WE. Had one as my first GBB pistol many years ago, eventually shook itself apart ?
