Hi,

Ive bought myself a A&k M4 Keymod, used it last weekend worked really well.

Was just wondering if there reliable or if any internals need upgrading?

I had a M100 spring fitted.

Tried to do some research on this A&K M4 keymod but couldnt find alot.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

I guess you wanted that specific model?

Just wondering because A&K is an unusual choice for an M4 base.

Anyway, I think most of us will say not to fiddle with it.  Maintain it well and it should last ages.

Use it until something breaks and then go in and replace/upgrade stuff.

Hi Edcase,

To be honest i rushed it buying it, had a game day booked and didnt want to use a rental.

I didnt no about this forum until recent otherwise would of done some research on here.

Got told A&K were a good brand, the model had everything i wanted, longer barrel and able fit attachments.

A&K internals are pretty crusty. Externals are perfectly fine though.

Use it til it breaks or until you become unsatisfied with its performance.

Not to worry Chris,  its not really bad, just not the best bang for buck but at least you didn't get a Nuprol ?

Buying anything without research will never get you a good deal ?
