lilredmachine Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Nerf has been getting very 'Gunny' recently as it is. Nerf like the Saturn: Takedown: and Charger: Are all pretty much a paintjob away from being what they average observer would call a gun. for example. The aftermarket isn't helping either, the Worker Prophecy is pretty much an assault rifle, and there are further kits to turn it into an L96 or a Barret. I love it, as a nerf collector, but how far can they go before it all gets regulated? Not to mention that it is possible to build or even buy nerf guns capable of firing gram plus projectiles at over 400 fps.
Tommikka Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 In original colours they comply with the VCRA Modify one as in the above photos and you’ve fallen in to RIF territory They already are regulated but people might not realise. Just like at least one retailer in the UK is selling gel blasters with a statement that they don’t have to be two toned as they are exempt. The opinion in court up against the VCRA definition of a RIF would differ
