Awesome, then you're good to go.  After running that battery for a bit, if you pop it on your VTE600 you should be able to see if it charges both cells or not.  The good news is that the voltage on your existing one looks recoverable if it's down to the charger.

I've already got the new charger to be safe and it'll probably be better off in the long run.

Oh, ace.  A lot of airsoft stuff gets used as backups, passed on, or "permanently loaned" anyway.

Everything arrived super early, the charger works great, and when I plugged in my old battery it only detected 1 cell so I think it's safe to say it's dead.

Also the bic pen technique was a big help
