Aep/AEP That Use a Peq Battery

I'm looking for an AEG/AEP that I could use a PEQ box with battery. Ideally, make sense and boost its performance.

If you are wondering why I'm looking for this because it does sound a little bit backwards. Having already got a PEQ box and battery I've put money into and would like to see what options I have before I sell them for a lower price. I originally brought them because I had a genius idea 🤥 to buy a two-tone Well R4, use it to get my UKARA and then buy a more expensive AEG that could be a RIF, that part worked out great. The other part was to then use the MP7 as a project and upgrade it. Gun came shooting 70 fps and battery only lasted half a game. So the plan was to PEQ box the battery and upgrade the internals with a better spring etc to get the power, ROF and battery life up. Gun itself cost me the same price as 3 rentals would've cost.

I thought I was on to a winner and a great idea, then I found out how much a pain in the arse an AEP is to work on and the Well R4 in general especially for a novice. Gun and the gearbox has been in parts in a box for months and months now. I don't think I could get the Gearbox or the gun itself back together and I'm just going to give up now before I waste more money on it. Might go back in a few years when I'm more experienced I guess, but probably going to look to sell some of the parts and get money back and reinvest.

I have kept looking at the Tokyo Mauri MP7A1 AEP because it uses the same mags and I can convert the battery over to a PEQ box. End up with a better version of the MP7 I was going to originally. But the £250 price tag and FPS of 200-250 puts me off, especially after my last experience with an electric MP7. Wasn't going to mind a sub 250 FPS AEP if it cost me, taking out what the rentals would've cost around £100. But I know you can get much better performance with the price.

So if anybody has any recommendations or knows what AEG/AEPS use a PEQ box, best case it would be a gun that will greatly need a PEQ box for performance. Looking for a CQB weapon and would like it to be a none M4 base. My main is a Long barrel M4 so would like something different but I'm open for any ideas.

Thanks

I can't really comment on the AEP side of things - but unless I've missed something why do you insist on using an external battery in a peq box for a standard AEG? I get with AEP there is significantly less space for a battery but AEGs + lipos has made them, thankfully, less common

Buy the TM HK416C, perfect CQB match for you PEQ battery box. Although is is based on the AR15 design.

Here's an option for aeps: a battery rig like a hpa line. There are people I know who have long battery lines that connect to a large lipo in their pocket or something and run the thing just like a hpa rig.

Just becasue I have a peq box and  brought a decent 11v battery for it and never used them, so would like the options before I look to sell them second hand. I know most AEGs they aren't normaly needed, but i'm kind've hoping for a good MP5 or somthing that just lacks in battery space and a PEQ box is all you need to make it a good gun from the box. if you know what I mean.
