Sandmandk
Hi, Has anyone heard or done a drillout and rethreading of the original silencer of the TM mk23 to fit a CW 16mm?
Guest
I thought it was 16mm cw anyway?
heroshark
It is. If yours is not it's either not the original as another company did do a 14mm version or the end cap has been switched. Note the tm 16mm thread is not the common pitch as I remember so if you do be sure to get the right one.
Sandmandk
I see, mine is definitely 14mm, got it from a friend years back so its unknown if it is actually original or not, although it has original markings etc. I wanted to attach it to my STTI mk23 witch is a 16mm CW. I think i will just buy a silencer for a 16mm CW thread since as mentioned, getting the pitch right might be an issue..
Steveocee
Might I suggest @Samurai's suppressor available here http://printedairsoft.co.uk/products It is so quiet, I was stood maybe 10M behind the enemy team today and managed to get through a full mag (yes there was that many enemies) before they realised I was there and rinsed me. My mk23 is also an stti like yours.
