PrometheusX
Hi guys, Im upgrading my rifle to a 500 fps build. The new piston is metal. Im worried about it striking the metal cylinder head and busting something. Should i worry about padding the back of the cylinder head with a couple of mm thickness of something or will it be ok If its advised, was thinking sorbopad or rubber tap washer or a piece of cut up mouse pad. Cheers.
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted February 6, 2020 Supporters Share Posted February 6, 2020 normally you'd have some kind of buffering on there anyway to correct the aoe.

Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted February 6, 2020 Supporters Share Posted February 6, 2020 ahh right, well in that case you're not going to lose anything from adding a buffer.
