Hey peeps, quick question from a complete nube lol.

I've recently acquired an Ares Striker 01 with mancraft kit. Looks the bizz , when I finally got the chance to hook it up to an airline I seem to get an air leak when cocking the rifle , is this normal or is it's case of something is goosed and needs fixing . Tia ?

hmmm, i'm not that familiar with how the mancraft kits operate, but it could be that it's filling the chamber?

Could be the cylinder filling up. Being a mechanical system it takes just a hair longer than an electric one to fill, hence the "pfffff" sound you hear.

If you want to check for air leaks, put the whole thing underwater, cock it and check for any bubbles ;)

^ good thinking

What?

Soaking shit in water to check for leaks?

I'm a scuba diver, I always do that when cleaning/repairing my gear :)

Also works for bicycle inner tubes ;)

Yeah, i'm more used to the electro-mechanical systems so just dunking them in water is an option i hadn't considered lol.
