Jordan0161 Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 I'm waiting on my guns but I want to try out I'm an experienced hunter and thought this looked like amazing fun but how do I get started
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted August 17, 2018 Supporters Posted August 17, 2018 just find a site and get out there, rent or buy 2 tone- whatever takes your fancy, sounds like you've went down the 2 tone route. your hunting gear will be pretty relevant- safety glasses, boots, camo, and bushlurking skillset will be a great boon for an outdoor site. just make sure your glasses are strong enough for airsoft, gloves and a half mask wouldn't go amiss either.

Jordan0161 Posted August 17, 2018 Author Posted August 17, 2018 As yeah sorry forgot to say where I was from (Aberdeenshire) I'll look up some sites thanks for the help
Supporters Rogerborg Posted August 17, 2018 Supporters Posted August 17, 2018 "Battle Grounds Adventure Activities are proud to be the only UKARA registered airsoft site around Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire" I think that about covers it, unless anyone local knows of another site. You will want to get a UKARA number so that you can buy realistic guns. On that, damn, you've bought an AEG, pistol and a sniper rifle before playing? That's keen. Do I detect a dayglo order from a site with "BB" in its name? I'd stress that airsoft guns do not perform like real steel or even airguns. Range and accuracy is mostly about the hop unit and getting consistent backspin on the BBs. In particular, that MB-04 might take a fair bit of fettling to get it into a state where it's more useful than an AEG. The first thing I'd suggest is getting a small amount of 0.4g+ BBs for it, and seeing how it performs with them. The AEG, well, feed it 0.25g or 0.28g and let rip. It's ace fun.
Jordan0161 Posted August 17, 2018 Author Posted August 17, 2018 Yh iv bought a rifle aswell but went for a sniper aswell just to see if I can get her in order myself with targets at home as I'm used to a bolt action anyway but I full understand that it's not going to be the same. I ordered .4 bb's when I made my order aswell as .28 bb's
Supporters Rogerborg Posted August 17, 2018 Supporters Posted August 17, 2018 Ah, good call. You might get lucky - my MB-03 with a few upgrades is borderline consistent and usable, under the right circumstances. But until you get yours dialled in, having an AEG as well is a great idea.
