First of all i would like to show my respect for this forum, I am a Belgian airsofter (only 2 yrs experience) and i am impressed of the UK airsoft community! It is growing in Belgium and Holland, and more and more airsoft grounds are started, altough we really need a lot more outdoor terrains, not much options for us here

Also, only very few shops spread over the country, but a year ago there was a big surpise when a new one had started in... my hometown Bruges. Shocking, a dream came true :D In my opinion, a good one too and i heard the repairs are done very well.

The reason i am sharing this over here is that Bruges has many British tourists, so if any of you ever takes a visit, just know there is a store to visit!

Thanks for letting me share this, and i hope i can visit some UK stores in the near future too! Next year visiting Scotland, to sure where the good shops are located (if there are good ones there?)

Welcome Bryggia, good to see airsoft growing where you are, visited Bruges many times, my wife loves it there (as do I), I also love the film lol.

i have a question, what are the requirements for purchasing a RIF/AEG in Belgium, as maybe it won't be just the wife shopping next time we're over :)

cheers

There are Landwarrior in Dalkeith and Airsoftworld in Crossgates for Central Scotland. Landwarrior has the nicer shop but Airsoftworld is good to.

Hi Aengus, thanks for the info, I might visit Stirling again, so both shops are not that far away, renting a car so no problem there... Thx!

Hi Mark, good to hear you like Bruges! It's far better than Antwerp, Ghent and Brussels anyway haha!

Only requirements for purchasing is you have to be over 18 yrs old... since you have a wife, i presume you are ok at that point :D

In case you would plan a visit in march or september, there are two trade fairs in Ostend (Belgian coast, about 20 mins driving from Bruges). Good luck in convincing your wife haha!

There's a pretty good surplus store down the road in Cumbernauld. They also used to sell airsoft stuff but it's no longer on there website so I'm not sure if they still do.
