Benje Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 Has anyone bought any used issue gear from surplus and outdoors if so what was the condition like great or poor. Obviously I'm not expecting pristine condition.
Dentonboy Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 It can vary. You want to check out any items we'll before buying.
smoorenator Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 the condition can depend as it is usually graded either 1 or 2. Grade 1 being used with everything working and no repairs done or rips or tears, Grade 2 having repairs may have been made to holes, rips and tears and these items generally have seen more wear than Grade 1

Andyraven Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I got a grade 1 90's PLCE webbing from them and it was in decent condition.
Supporters TheFull9 Posted January 2, 2018 Supporters Posted January 2, 2018 Grade 2's probably more what you want for really cheap clothes to do some digging or woodwork out in the garden; clothes you know will get ruined. 1 is just going to be mildly faded, the odd scuff, solid economical option for airsoft. Check ebay first though because there's tons of DPM and MTP on there for peanuts, a lot that's either brand new or near as.
Immortal Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Add "Supergrade"; pretty much as new/unissued, with or without a packet. It's worth spending some time searching, new unissued gear can go for less than graded gear. You just gotta search for the bargains...
Dentonboy Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Ebay really is the place to go if you are not near a surplus store. Plus you can search by brand/manufacturer and home in on the more hard wearing items that should last a good while.
