Types of CO2 Cartridges

What would happen if I put a 16g CO2 cartridge in an airsoft pistol rather than a 12g?

IF it fits, it'll just hold more gas so more shots.

According to co2cartridges.co.uk

12gram = 83mm x 18.8mm

16gram  = 88.6mm x 21.9mm

 

If inserting the cartridge into a pistol then a larger capacity one then it’s designed for won’t fit, if rigging a remote system then you get a little bit more capacity

They will not fit..
