Trying to find a good scope to match the one in the pic on the right. I think I found a pretty good match unless anyone can recommend a better one. Thanks.

Care to provide some context? There may be better pictures from other angles available. The unit for example might elucidate what it is.

It's the scope used by Marcus Luttrell (Mark Whalberg) in the film Lone Survivor. I'm attempting to build his MK12 MOD1. Trying to find a decent scope to replicate it.

The RS scope is the Leupold Mark 4 MR/T M2 Illum

Another shot of the scope in move. Same scope this time with an RMR on top which for obvious reasons in airsoft I would like if anyone knows any like this style.

That's not an RMR, it's a Docter mini red dot. That should help finding an appropriate repro.

Can you clarify the differences for me mate? As I thought the terms where interchangeable.. as on the acog they call it RMR

RMR is a Ruggedised Miniature Red dot made by a company called Trijicon, it's a very specific thing. Docter is the manufacturer of one of the earliest really mini red dot sights.

Thanks. I thought they were terms for the type of sight but now I get that they're specific terms with re pros. Cheers

Whilst not an exact match the King Arms M3 replica will look a lot more 'military' since the body is 30mm unlike most airsoft scopes.

Missing the slanted knob on the eye relief side. I'd say the ACM one is better as it replicates the MR/T M1 which is the same as the M2 used in the movie except the knobs are higher instead of the stumpy ones used on the M2 which was designed as a combat scope not a competition one.

Otherwise, thanks for your input bud. If you know of any replica docter sights a similar one to that posted above would be appreciated.

There's an illuminated version: http://www.kingarms.com/product_detail.php?id=1862

Also King Arms do the rings with a mount for a red dot: http://www.kingarms.com/product_detail.php?id=378

Look at the G&P OP red dot

Oh yeah that's a nice match. Very hard to find places that stock them though but will do some more research and maybe grab one if I caneed

Cheers

That's because they've stopped making them, if you look at the KA product page it says "SUSPENDED" in big red letters under Product Information.

Yeah I'm aware of that that's why I said it's hard to find places that stock it. Thanks anyway.

Should lead with that kind of information when you're asking people to help you out.

Not to sound rude but I wasn't actually asking for any help in that particular post. I was replying to somebody else and it was a statement.
