JerseyRider Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Try this one.... Your in a boat travleing 10 knots... The tide and wind is going agiesnt you at 3 knots How fast will you be going?
Supporters Matt! Posted February 24, 2011 Supporters Posted February 24, 2011 I'm going to say the obvious and say 7 Knots But the answer is most likely something like your boat is sideways or something stupid like your not actually in water!
AF-UK Founding Member Deva Posted February 24, 2011 AF-UK Founding Member Posted February 24, 2011 10 knots is correct. He already told you how fast you're going Although if your going to be picky you haven't actually specified if the speed you've given is inclusive of all physical factors or not.
JerseyRider Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 Oh Dev caught me out.... However Matt had the correct theroy If you indicated engine speed is 10 knots then you would be traveling at 7 knots due tot he resistance of the tide and wind
MZKaleem Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 lol i thought that, but matt wrote it so i didn't bother

REMSoft Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 You switch the letters around. New door is an anagram of 'one word'.
JerseyRider Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 Rem Got it You guys are good at this!
Supporters Matt! Posted February 24, 2011 Supporters Posted February 24, 2011 Arnold Schwarzenegger has a big one Micheal j fox has a small one Madonna doesn't have one the pope has one but he never uses it Bill Clinton Has one and he uses it all the time! What is it?...
REMSoft Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Here's an easy one. Your last good table tennis ball fell into a narrow metal pipe imbedded in concrete 30cms deep. How can you get it out undamaged, if all the tools you have are your table tennis bat, your shoe-laces, and your plastic water bottle, which does not fit into the pipe?
Supporters Matt! Posted February 24, 2011 Supporters Posted February 24, 2011 something to do with pouring water down the pipe?
