Mitchell Gee
hi there, im thinking of doing the following things: Tightbore Barrel New Hop-Up New Hop Rubber Spring Downgrade (Maybe) my main goal is to fit a new Hop-Up unit, because my current hop that came with the gun wont adjust, i pull the bolt back and try to turn the wheel, and it wont budge... is there a way to solve this? or should i just replace it? the Hop i was looking at getting is this one: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Element-M4-...er_AOVYQ.aspx?0 or should i get a metal on like this: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Madbull-Ult...es_ARUPN.aspx?0 i know how to fit hop ups (i think) so i dont need much advice there... The spring downgrade is only if my gun fires to hot when i got to the mall when im 13, then i will install a weaker spring if this is needed, now i need ALOT of help with this one if it comes to it... im looking at getting this spring: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Systema-M85...ng_ALU92.aspx?0 it only lets the gun fire around 290fps but i heard you should be aiming around 300fps... before i do the spring i will probably fit a tightbore whilst im doing the hop up... i am looking at this: http://www.airsoftworld.net/excel-silver-s...ore-barrel.html or should i go for a slightly larger diameter barrel like this: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Madbull-Bla...mm_ALU86.aspx?0 to keep the FPS closer to my 300fps goal... what length barrel will i need? i run a standard M4 (G&G GR16)... i know how to fit barrels is there much use of getting a hop rubber? as range wont be much of a problem in the mall (CQBish site) but if i do what one should i get? i know how to fit these... thanks for your help in advance... Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted February 22, 2011 Supporters Share Posted February 22, 2011 madbull barrel 6.03 whatever length you run at the moment either hop unit, the tracer one is great, but the plastic one is also fine for your needs. new madbull rubber standard nub (not the H nub that comes with the rubber) and it's worth spending a little time adjusting the barrel to be perfectly aligned in the gun (only way is to shoot it untill they (the BB's) fly straight and not curved
G-Force
the Hop i was looking at getting is this one: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Element-M4-...er_AOVYQ.aspx?0 or should i get a metal on like this: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Madbull-Ult...es_ARUPN.aspx?0 The madbull one looks better to me, madbull are usually very good for internal parts. is there much use of getting a hop rubber? as range wont be much of a problem in the mall (CQBish site)but if i do what one should i get? i know how to fit these... Hop Rubbers are good for increasing range but its up to you wheather you feel it's nessassary. I have a blue hop rubbe in one of my guns and it has improved the range however I don't know what make it is. I have heard that the VFC red hop rubbers are one of the best on the market. Hope this helped
