You'll have a lot more fun with airsoft if you can learn to dig up the information yourself - otherwise you're at the mercy of people in the safezone telling you things that aren't true (less of a problem on here). If you're new there're a lot of guides already made for you which will answer your questions more fully than most posts in these kinda of threads will as they've been made by people who've taken sometimes hours to write them. The forum has lots of useful information, as proffrink noted, and it is worth having a search around and reading other threads. (The seach function does have a 4 character limit though) I would recommend The Mall, in Reading, a great site and easy access either via car or train from Basingstoke.
