oliver199201
HI I was wondering if there was an age limit to use a GBB pistol at airsoft sites?
Root Admin proffrink Posted September 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted September 5, 2016 To use one? None. To buy one? Same as any RIF - 18. Check out this forum and the stickies http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/forum/12-uk-law/
Benneh
The only age-related limit to using airsoft weapons at an airsoft site is the site owners rules.

Check out this forum and the stickies http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/forum/12-uk-law/ Also correct me if I'm wrong but the wrong-doing in the sale of any RIF to an u18 lies with the seller, not the buyer. Root Admin proffrink Posted September 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted September 5, 2016 Correct. Doesn't mean you should try though or they'll start enforcing it more harshly.
Longshot
Not correct on the above actually. If you're over 18 then only the seller is committing the offence (unless under very specific circumstances) but if you're under 18 it is illegal to buy a RIF too, so both the buyer and seller would be at fault. Root Admin proffrink Posted September 5, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted September 5, 2016 Didn't know that was the case - my understanding was all the relevant parts of that VCRA amendment put the liability on the seller. Thanks!
Longshot
They seem to go harder on the seller, but 24A (i) here certainly has the buyer at fault if they are under 18 as well: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/
