NuttyJr
So, I'm 14 and I am actually very short for my age, could anyone suggest a good quality tactical vest that will fit me I have been looking at an 8fields quick release vest, that doesn't look like it will be too oversized but I'm still not sure. So if anyone could help me out that would be great, thanks
GeneralKimbo
Hey man in 16 and just under 6ft and I run this and it's a perfect fit http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-rigs-plate-carriers-assault-vests/8fields-tactical-aav-fsbe-plate-carrier-armour-atacs-fg.htm#.V6oCfBnTXqA I would personally recommend you running something that's quite lightweight and adjustable such as a jumplate http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-rigs-plate-carriers-assault-vests/emersongear-n-jump-plate-carrier-hard-plate-multicam.htm#.V6oC2xnTXqA But I have also seen this and it looks quite small and adjustable http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-rigs-plate-carriers-assault-vests/8fields-hard-armour-plate-carrier-atacs.htm#.V6oDNRnTXqA Other than that I would recommend something like a carrier rig It won't offer the same protection if that's what your after but they are very minimalist and size adjustable http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-rigs-plate-carriers-assault-vests/8fields-tactical-russian-style-chest-rig-olive-green.htm#.V6oDixnTXqA other than that it's up to you. Good luck.

Aunty Pasty
I agree with a chest rig. Condor or viper stuff is relatively cheap if you're on a budget. You can get ones with pre-sewn pouches or get a molle one and add the pouches yourself.
Mostly Retired Moderators L3wisD Posted August 17, 2016 Mostly Retired Moderators Share Posted August 17, 2016 I've got one of these (Viper LA Special Forces Vest) and for £33 I think it's a good bit of kit. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-rigs-plate-carriers-assault-vests/viper-la-special-forces-vest-green.htm#.V7RiYdSLTDc Unfortunately, Viper gear gets a lot of stick from people on here and on Zero In for being cheap. I can understand why people spend higher amounts of money on their gear, but this does the trick for me for now, the quality is good and I see it lasting ages You can keep shed loads of stuff on you at a time. I've got my M9 holstered in the first pocket on the left hand side of the zip, M16 mags in the others and then a waterbottle on the far right. The pockets on the chest are perfect for spare batteries. And I keep my Keys, phone and wallet in one of the huge inside pockets. So you're not short of keeping things on you. If you're small, you should still be find to wear it - it's incredibly adjustable. The lace up sides will keep it tight round the middle and the velco straps over the shoulders should prevent it from hanging around your crotch. Again, I appreciate they aren't to everyone's tastes, but for the budget conscious 'softer I recommend it.
Winston Wolf
I'm onboard about suggesting a chest rig as well. They give much more flexibility and allow you a lot more mobility in my experience. Never had an issue with Viper gear. If it works and it's in budget who cares imo.
