Cipher-032
Noticed today during using the gun at todays skirmish, after setting the hop, it would unwind with vibrations.Any one know a "fix" or how to stop it from doing this? Its a stock plastic hop unit from a ASG AUG A3 Commando. Metal hop unit the way to go? Blu-tac on the adjuster wheel?Any help is appreciated!
Supporters Samurai Posted April 25, 2016 Supporters Share Posted April 25, 2016 Put a few rounds of teflon tape under the part that you turn to adjust the hopup.

Root Admin proffrink Posted April 25, 2016 Root Admin Share Posted April 25, 2016 Also make sure you've not got any grease or anything on the gears or around the unit. Just use some isopropyl alcohol to remove. Even just a bit of dry kitchen towel helps too if you've not got any. Shouldn't make a massive difference though. Its just plastic crap parts, but no doubt it would do the same with a metal hop unit. The teflon tape has made it nice and snug now
