Connieboy
Okay so today I had my second airsoft game at Free Fire zone near Peterborough,(brilliant day) I have no equipment so just trying to get the essentials sorted first, and one thing I noticed today and in my first game was how dehydrated I'm getting, so a hydration pack is what I'm after, I do have a camelbak that I use for cycling but the bag is bright red, I'm looking at a the source 3l Tactical so when I get a plate carrier I can mount it on the MOLLE I have found it at UK Tactical but the multi cam hasn't been in stock for weeks, I have found it elsewhere but the price is a lot higher any ideas where I can get one from at around the same price? thanks Con
airsofter2015
You can get them from source's website http://sourcetacticalgear.com/packs/74-tactical-3l.html Also there are other hydration packs that cost a lot less like the one i got which was similar to this http://www.tacticalgeartrade.co.uk/us-army-3l-hydration-water-backpack-multi-camo.html I can't really comment on how good it is as i only used it for one game as it was too heavy to run around with for just a normal skirmish. airsofter2015
I did find it there but the price is way higher than the UK Tactical site Yeah that's usually the way it's usually the way with airsoft related stuff unfortunately because they know people will pay for it. Does it have to be that exact hydration pack?

I have seen the source olive in stock, I do like the source hydration bladders, and I need a pack I can wear rucksack style until I got a plate carrier, any suggestions for others? airsofter2015
How about the MFH hydration pack i've used it before and it's excellent for the price. http://www.military1st.co.uk/30620x-mfh-hydration-bladder-and-carrier-molle-operation-camo.html

airsofter2015
If you look at the second picture it shows straps and a molle attachment so yes you certainly can.

And reading the spec it doesnt say a separate bladder is required so I assume its an all in one. I would ping Mil1st an email to check, They are usually really helpful! Connieboy
It's just that I have the hydration pack, but I don't like the bladder, it's a pain to dry, the source bladder looks better
Sacarathe
Can you store the bladder full? I can't immediately see the problem with this, of course the drinking tube would still need to be cleaned.
Supporters jcheeseright Posted April 20, 2016 Supporters Share Posted April 20, 2016 Storin bladders full leads to bacterial build up, won't do you any harm but makes the water taste funny. I've all but given up on hydration bladders etc now, I just carry a bottle of water in a leg pocket.
Connieboy
The source bladders can be opened fully so cleaning and drying is easier, that's why I would like one... but not too sure if it'll fit in the bag itself
