Duration to spray an airsoft gun

Afternoon Chaps,

 

Just a quick question looked in the forum and googled but had no luck,

 

Does anybody know how long it takes for an Airsoft Paint shop to spray a gun once its set up for spraying (Sniper Rifle)???

Depends on how busy they are spraying other weapons but generally, most shops say 3-5 days for spraying

So if they were to start spraying it now I wont get it before Saturday,, Hmm

that depends on the type of finish your looking for because it might take a couple of layers unless you want that rugged look which in that case it should take longer than a day

Well im not fussing over it as I`ll be wrapping it then spraying it myself later in its life, However a shop will want to make it look brilliant so never mind will have to wait and see.

Have you already sent/given it to said shop for spraying?

 

If you're planning on wrapping it in sniper tape anyway what difference does it make if you don't get it done before the weekend?

 

 

There's so many variables involved with work load, type of finish you ask for, how much needs disassembling that any estimate you get here will be total finger in the air guesswork and most probably wrong anyway!

 

Why not just get a can of Krylon and do it yourself?

it'll take them as long as it takes to strip the parts off the gun and put a really thick layer of bright green on.
