Supporters Lozart Posted February 5, 2014 Supporters Share Posted February 5, 2014 Anyone ever used one? Thinking of trying one out in my M249 as it seems you can program it to do burst fire, then revert to full auto.

Yeah, the gun has safe or full auto, what I was hoping for was to achieve a kind of pseudo-semi auto mode by setting a single round burst with a delay to go full auto. Supporters Ian_Gere Posted February 6, 2014 Supporters Share Posted February 6, 2014 I'm not sure that you can tune a burst down to a single shot with a KK, best check. The one I had was not the "Super", just the BWKK, but that I wouldn't recommend. Anyway you don't need a semi-auto setting for burst fire, it replaces full-auto: it fires the burst and pauses if your finger is still on the trigger before going into full-auto. The pause is actually quite long in terms of what an adrenalised person can do in a second, say.

I emailed the man himself and he replied that yes, you can reduce the burst count of the current model (KK Super 2) to one shot (the range is actually 1-9). The return to auto delay can be set as low as 0.1 second too. For the money, if it doesn't do what I'm after I'll just slap it into my SCAR instead!
